I have tried several of these apps, and this is the only one that actually works; at least some of the time. This app tends to misidentify chords, but sometimes it gets them right, or at least right enough that I can tinker around and arrive at the actual chord. I made a point of testing it only with music where at some point the only audible instrument is an acoustic guitar. However, the running chord history is a brilliant idea and is well implemented.

Does a fairly decent job identifying triads. It's more confused by harmonic content than some similar apps. I thought at first it was using "bass note" feature to identify inversions which would be great, but apparently it is rather the bass note played by the left hand (if any). It is too confused by background noise and harmonics. Played a simple scale and the melody it displayed was unrecognizable.

I consider myself very lucky to hate their website as if I didn't I wouldn't have found this app. It just blows my mind. It helped me figure out sections of songs that I couldn't quite get before. This tool, here, is invaluable.

It only gives the root note, not the chord type, I'm tryna chmy music class, it do s what it says it can do tho so good app I guess
