Dry January & Beyond for Android
Wish that the app changed currency after it asks for your country.
I liked this app, but then it asks you to pay to unlock the part that records your drinks... I'm sure that was free a few months ago!!
Paid for the upgrade, nothing happened. Asked for a refund, nothing happened. Deleting.
Great ap easy to use
Brilliant way to keep track on my drinking i will never be tee total but help s me be in control
Great way keep track. It prompts every morning asking if you drank the day before. But I'm this close to uninstalling due to a persistent reminder telling me I have unread notifications, which I don't. Like, 10 times a day.
Deeply irritating. First install it constantly reminded me that I had unread notifications but when I opened the app there weren't any. Uninstalled and it told me it would save my data in my account. Reinstalled - no data, so had to re-enter my days. Now it is notifying me every hour to remember to record any drinks. And I paid the premium! Poor.
Paid for the premium version but as thought it was a good app. But they need a way to turn off notifications as 10 per day is excessive and making me want to drink to blot them out!!!
I'm not sure what the drinks prices are based on? Perhaps London pub prices?! It would be good if you could type in the prices of drinks you normally buy into the info. Apart from that it's quite good as a motivator.
The alert that pops up every ten minutes asking me to fill in a survey (which I have already filled in) has put me on the verge of uninstalling this.
Calculations are very odd. Seems to be that if you drink more than average one day the total calories saved doesn't reduce. Not worth buying premium.
Easy to use. Loved the fact that if I slipped up it wasn't the end of the world. Will keep to help keep me motivated!
The constant notifications are close to driving me to drink! I would uninstall it except that I want to complete my progress calender. And I'm not really much of a drinker anyway...
Can change value of drink by tapping on it. Done my month. Time to party hard! Lol
I think your $values are higher than mine. Or you just drink better quality alcohol.
Love the daily reminders, love the articles, love the Q and A
The daily progress helps to stay motivated.
Good way to monitor your intake.
Really motivational
I have upgraded to the premium edition but its no different than the free one?? No motivation messages like it says either? I have emailed but heard nothing back .. waste of money upgrading. .disappointing
It's ok, but it keeps updating and notifying me off unread notifications that I have either read or or not there.
I love this app. It' straightforward to use and contains loads of useful information which has motivated me to keep going during January
This app is ok although it says I Have been alcohol free for 8 days for ages now and I can't seem to change that
Terrible app.keeps crashing. Cant log in.
Not as good as described but does help with that extra bit of motivation
Good reminder and motivational
Useful and motivational tool that logs your progress of alcohol free days. Dropped one star as I do not save the amount of money it claims.
Nice idea, offers some good ideas and helps with motivation
A good app that's helps you feel motivated
Great for tracking progress of sober days.
Dry January
Useful to keep on track
Good app
As a minimum I would expect to be able to record my consumption, if any, during January at least. And £1.99 is expensive for what you get. I might consider buying the full version if was, say, 50p.
Like the app but is there a way to add comments to days where u had a drink. In my case I intentionally delayed starting dry january as was attending a wedding on the 2nd. I added all info into my progress, but would be nice to be able to add reason.
Fun to enter status everyday but the calories saved are in joules which is strange to American users. Also, it should let me set the price per unit so my money savings truly reflects my usage.
I like the simplicity of the app tracking your dry days calendar style. I do wish you could customize it a bit more. For example the energy savings in calories (instead of joules) along with US$ saved.
Change the US energy units from joules to calories. Custom drink entry screen spacing needs to be fixed, some fields are not visible (nexus 6p)
It's OK but prefers it when it just recorded your days, perhaps the open screen could bypass the story page, as never read it - I go round it as it's in the way, then never return to it. Could be subtler, then I might read the blurb.

I hate the way you have to pay to unlock the ability to track your alcohol. Downloaded the drinkaware app instead. That's free
