It does calculations of the 3 basic settings a time lapse video would contain, the frames per second, the total frames in the video, and the total length of the video. Entering information for 2 of the fields and calculating will produce the results of the third setting.
Also by entering in your shooting information for a time lapse session, you can calculate the duration of your time lapse and plan accordingly. Additionally, use the timer feature to time your time lapse until completion. Upon completion you'll be notified that your time lapse is completed.
