I like this app mostly for the aesthetics. It is useful, however It doesn't have EVERY classes spells and I've come across the occasional spelling error. Cons: unable to add custom spells, asks for real money to make additional spell books.

The ability to create a spell book for your character is an extremely useful ability that allows for quick access to search for your personal spells you have selected. My issue is that it is a little difficult for clerics to use. Certain cleric domains grant access to non cleric spells. You can add those spells via the cleric domains tab while searching for spells however they will not show up in the cleric spell book. For example the spell magic aura is listed in the app as a bard, sorcerer, wizard and magic domain level one spell. As a cleric with the magic domain I have access to that spell but it will not show up in the cleric spell book after I add it making me take the extra time to search for the spell if I need to read it's discription. Another thing if you wish to add multiple spell books you will need to pay real money to gain access that feature. Not something I really like to be honest. I could deal with adds as long as they do not interfere with my searching for spells and stay at the bottom or top of the screen. Other then that a useful app that allows me to not have to write discriptions down.

Just got it. Accidentally deleted the free book, now app is useless unless I pay. You should make it where you always have 1 free book.

A70%
by A####:

Needed to create a new spellbook so i deleted the one i wasn't using only to find that you can only ever have one book ever without paying.

Q70%
by Q####:

This needs the ability to add "custom" spells to the spell list. This way the app still has some use for those with access to non-core spells.

Y70%
by Y####:

I bought gold and additional spell books, but when I got a new device they were gone. Is there a way to get them back with out spending more money?

B70%
by B####:

Pretty good app. Would rate higher if it allowed people to keep track of spells, input custom spells, allow mass copying of spells to a spellbook, and allow people to see the sentence description of a spell ASA togglable option in a spellbook

T70%
by T####:

Looks nice but really needs the ability to add custom spells and an editable note section. Add that and I'd be willing to spend a buck or 2 for this app.

Q70%
by Q####:

Didn't have the capacity to accomidate spells from sublimental things like psionics or the tome of magic

P70%

I really like this app. I think it's really easy to use. But, whenever I made a new character, I needed a new book, so I deleted one, under the impression it would clear it. It did not. It actually deleted it, even though I paid money for it, and with no way to get it back. I like it, but it straight up stole my money.

X70%
by X####:

Good for core-only classes with core-only spells. Not good for the Artificer I want to keep track of. The inability to add new class lists and spells is disappointing, to say the least.

M70%
by M####:

I think this app is pretty great, and it make playing a caster so much easier. However, I think it would be way more useful if you added the ability to track the number of uses allowed per day & how many you've used that day. Spell tracking is just one of those things that is a pain to keep track of on paper, and it wold be fantastic if you were able to track it electronically instead.

An amazing app by far I love it other than the fact that I spent 3 bucks without realizing I can't put any custom spells or invocations in. I was going to use them to make spell books for my warlock and other classes but I can't unless custom spells are added. Please can this feature be added? I will be saving my gold to hopefully buy this as a feature until then I will not have much use for the extra book I bought.

This app makes picking spells easy and reliable. The only thing that would make it better is if you could keep track of the number of casting times you were allowed with this app.

This is one of most used apps on my phone, super useful app. I'd really love it though if it had Psionic Powers on it too, it would add a whole lot to the app. Still a really great app! I love it so much.

X70%

I liked it at first, but it is lacking. My guess is the publishers are going to eventually add more. I can wait til then.

W70%

Amazing app, but I would pay for a premium one with lines telling you what level spells are in your My Spells list as well as some additional features already pointed out in the comments.

X70%
by X####:

This app is lovely. It gives perfect descriptions of the spells as per the PHB. Also, the "My Spells" feature is great; however, I wish you could make custom spells for classes not specified in the PHB.

I deleted a spellbook because I didnt want the spells I favorited... now I have to buy a new one just to use the app? No thanks.

The best dnd app for android by a long shot. The search feature makes finding spells a breeze for spellcraft checks and what not. I just wish it had more spells from the other books.

Great ap! Simple to work, good resource, but missing two things. 1) Create or edit spells, 2) show memorized spells.

X70%
by X####:

Only problem I found was the Baleful Polymorph spell being different from the SRD. Wondering why.

D70%
by D####:

I really like this app, but it needs to at least include the spell lists for Prestige Classes from the Dungeon Master's Guide - like the Assassin and Black Guard spell list.

X70%
by X####:

This is great! Except there needs to be an option to add spells to the spell list that are not listed. There are several spells from different classes not listed here. Aside from that this app is very handy!

Z70%
by Z####:

Works great, never crashes, great and easy to access information for core d&d.

E70%
by E####:

Easy to use , but it would be nice to have a page with the monster you can summon with all their stats (with spell like Summon Monster) and it doesn't have the spells from every books so being able to add a spell ourself to the list would be awesome.

Z70%
by Z####:

I'm a Noob when it comes to D&D, but my friends invited me to play and I've slowly been getting into it. This app really helps me out alot because it saves my spells so that I don't have to go searching through a book. I'm so happy I found this.

G70%
by G####:

Great for Core, lacks a custom spell option for non core spells

Z70%
by Z####:

Would be awesome if you could add spells from other relevant sources. I play a druid and with just the core spells its hard to keep track.

U70%
by U####:

My only complaint is that there are a few cleric domains missing. My cleric is a cleric of Thor and the weather domain isn't on the list and I would love to see it added

U70%
by U####:

Definitely an awesome map but specific names of wizards spells are missing like acid arrow and faithful hound. But what annoyed me was that it hasn't been updated with books like Frostburn or libris mortis

U70%

Awesome app, favorite part is the exact wording from players hb. Only thing for my players that have I-phones, they are left wanting... any chance you might give apple a bite? (See what I did there? ) ; p

X70%

It just needs custom spells and this would become my favorite app it would be neat but not required if there was a sort by school section

X70%

Just want to let someone know; there is a mistake in some of the summon natures ally spells. There is a '1' instead of a '*' next to the summon able aquatic creatures. It confused a friend thinking she could summon a shark into land battle.

M70%
by M####:

Extremely useful and well thought out. Never liked playing casters until I downloaded this. It makes spell management a breeze.

I70%

This reminds me of the era of the Unearthed Arcana, where a spellcaster could take with them adventuring, a pocket spellbook with their basic daily memorised spells. This is much better. But if I input into Spellbook App, will I lose everything if I lose my phone or I have to reboot the cell hardrive? I gave a better rating this tme for fresher look. When I actually use this app I will give a better honest rating.
