Fare Compare Uber, Lyft & Taxi

The app indicated uber would be $8 more expensive than lyft so we took lyft from a wedding reception to the hotel. We arrived at the same time as another guest who used uber, he paid $28 we paid $39. Not accurate at all. I gave it two stars for effort.

This is a REALLY useful little app to help you decide who to call for a ride. The prices are usually reasonably in RC close, and it's a GREAT idea. Needs to fix some things, especially where is Home, and how to change to and from locations. Keep working!!!

Adding frequently used destinations is so infuriating!! Other than home or work, what is the purpose in naming a destination? They are favorites!! If you don't name them, the address can't be saved! The whole site is exceptionally hard to navigate and/or use. Am not sure when I need a ride if I will have the time to fool around with this!! 5 stars for the intent 1for the website. Thus; a 3 overall!!

I updated this app last week, and ever since it will not allow me to see all the different prices 4 different ride companies. Instead, all I get to see our ride prices for taxis and Lux Lyft. I really wish the app kinks would get worked out ASAP, as I use this app at least twice a month.

Totally disappointed! The screenshot even shows curb and that doesn't show here in NYC! Why not have all of the app such as Curb, Gett, Via, Juno, etc? For just Uber and Lyft I can use City Mapper and also get the subway/bus times and Citi Bike/Bike Share too!

This app showed that lyft line was $10 cheaper than uber pool. So we called lyft line. While waiting for the car, we went to both apps (uber and lyft) and found that in fact uber pool was $8 cheaper. Totally useless app. Best is to use this app to visit both apps and check for the price yourself. At least you will not have to enter origin and destination twice. So may be it does have some value.

It took a while for me to save home and work addresses for Los Angeles, CA. I finally got them in as favorites. The App takes me straight to choice I made, but didn't allow me to GPS track my Uber driver who came really fast, and kinda snuck up on me. That could've resulted in a cancellation after 2 minutes!

pretty good. would like options of adding additional services like juno and via. also did not tell me lyft was surging once. found out after connected over to lyft, so doesn't work perfectly. but in general, a helpful app.

Sucks if you are not in the USA. Waste of time. Don't download if you are in the rest of the world. Won't even find an address in another country. Stick with Uber. It works everywhere Uber is.

Not accurate enough - at least in Washington DC. While it correctly displayed Lyft Line as the cheapest option, it didn't show regular Lyft at all in the list, even though it should have been in the top 4 (at least) Also, the rate for DC cabs was 30% too high than what I know and the DC cab app shows. Too bad, because it is a great concept. I'll try it again in a few months.

Seems slanted toward lyft. Used recently in Vegas and it never showed uber available. Checking uber site, map was almost blacked out with available uber drivers.

Great concept, inaccurate data. Been using for a while in many locations. Completely wasted my time. Deleting this app.

I took one ride on 9-7& was charged 5 times I will.call my bank to dispute these overcharging and never use uber again

Would be nice if Lyft actually showed. All that I'm seeing is Uber and taxi even though I know there's Lyft drivers around.

This app does not give me taxi rate for my location

Stop making it load the latest request when the app is reopened. Either cache that or don't have it resubmit on app load. This is simple stuff

Not being able to access My Places in Google Maps is a big negative

Often by 2x. Good app in principle, but not if it's inaccurate.

I keep getting server error. It does seem to favor Lyft even after their recent increase to $.96 per mile.

The New Name is a lot better than the old name. Love the new features.

Doesn't always recognize an address. But for the most part very good

Don't know if this app shows SURGE charges.

Shows Uber drivers as N/A (Not Available) all day long even when they are available.

Prices were off when double checked against actual app. They claimed uber pool was 6—10 when it in fact was 4.75

App is a great idea. If we could incorporate choosing a pickup location on the map by dropping a pin as well as typing in the address.

Excellent method to compare cost...click the company with the best price and the app takes you to the company reservation site... quick and easy.
