The YWCA Safety Siren, available in both English and French, offers users a unique utility siren which can be activated by pressing the safety button. The app also offers Canadian health and safety information geared toward young women, including: short questions and answers about women’s health and wellness, particularly focused on dating and social interaction; tips and facts on safety and wellbeing; links to YWCAs across Canada as well as health and crisis resource centres; and SOS urgent email and phone functionality to a friend or family member when the user is in an unsafe situation.

I love this app..its awesome for safety and such but I have a few recommendations to make it that much better and safer. I suggest maybe to add either an additional siren that would allow your emergency contact to be called and when they answer, I recording comes on saying the caller needs help asap and the recording also say the location of the person in need. Additional to an email, options for sending text to emergency contacts shoukd be an ootion since people cannot see their email right away at times.

It says you can text someone in emergency but it only lets you email when it clearly states you can text so the whole thing is crap
