CGO2

I have used the app with the cgo2+ camera attached to my Chroma Blade and it works just fine but not my steady grip. It connects and streams video perfectly fine but as soon as I hit the record button the Wi-Fi disconnects and the app crashes. Very disappointing.

Most people who downloaded this app will probably use it with the grip. Pretty much useless if one cannot record audio. Come on guys.

You literally cannot turn on the mic in the app. You have to use the giant st10+ rc controller to turn on the mic and start recording if you want audio. Did they not test this at all? How is it possible to miss that!

There is no way to turn the audio on, and off while recording. The IOS Version of this App has Audio Control. When I connect with my iPad there is and audio on & off control button, so there is no reason not to just update the Android version of this App.

Like it, except there is no way to turn on the mic thru this app. Please add this Yuneec! Otherwise not a bad app. Using the galaxy s7 edge.

App works great, but you cannot switch on the audio when working with the steadygrip. PLEASE ADD THIS FEATURE!

Works fine, but the CGO 2+ has a microphone. The app gives no control over the mic. Please fix this, I understand not needing the mic while flying, but if I am using the steady grip I am going to want sound.

When do you we get an updated version of this app? (all the cool features of the cg03 app)

Tried it out using my Samsung S5 and it works great. Will try it on other devices soon. It would be good to see some of the already suggested additions at some point though.

Love my Q500+, but video signal strength is an issue. People are making mods to obtain more distance with video and flight control. Why not make your own mod for us, we will pay, many have paid $200 or more to get more distance. More camera features white bal, etc... in this cgo2 app, again we'll pay for it $5- $10 is nothing for more features. Help us Yuneec! We love our drones! This app is missing a key feature required to turn on the audio! Since the recent firmware update audio defaults to off making the steadycam and this app totally unusable! Sort it Yuneec as you have broken my equipment!

Very disappointing app, down loaded on my Huawei G6-L11 phone and will not work, so the steady grip I got with my Q500+ is still in its box unable to be use and I can't find any info on what android phone are compatible with this app.. I should have purchased a DJI phantom.. sort this out Yuneec please....

Just got my Q500+ with the cgo2+ camera. Suppose to have audio but there is no way to enable it in the app that I have found. Also when recording video the live view on phone appears very choppy. Using the LG V10. Fix these issues and I will rate appropriately. Thanks.

I don't yet have the Q500 plus, but am considering buying it. But seeing that this app hasn't been updated in over a year and there are no customer service replies to negative reviews, makes me think this company doesn't care about it's customers. DJI is a possibility.

Don't know why but cam work's great on my quad but won't connect with the software on my tab ??? Why. Just can't get it to work please help.

Needs audio option. would be nice to adjust iso for low light and have a way to disable led lights because in low light you get red and blue lights in the shots...also would be nice if the was a way to lock camera for shots you are trying to capture from an upward angle

Works well but beware you need a portable device with 5.8mhz wifi and 8.11g capabilities. only down side is there's no audio option

Works well when it works. But on my LG G3, the WiFi connection constantly disconnects. I then have to manually reconnect it while in the air. It sucks. Plain and simple.

The App works well but have an interesting issue. I switch on my Typhoon Q500+, the camera initializes, active the wifi on my Android smartphone updated to 'Lollipop' and I can see the camera view just fine and the App works as it should. Then I install the camera on the SteadyGrip which has new batteries. Turn on the camera wait for it to initialize, make sure the phone WiFi sees it, put in the PW, connection is complete but when l open the CGO2 app it loses the connection? Why would everything work when in the Quad but NOT when installed on the Steadygrip. After all, the CGO2 has the WiFi integrated and the connector only provides power and pitch capabilities? Anybody having similar issues? Other than that the App seems just fine.

A simple app that works well and finally lets you change the frame rate... Easy to use. Works well on my Galaxy 3 but video transmission back to phone cuts out after flying about 300m away.. then when flying back within that range it works again. So the point is make sure you (or a friend) is also visually tracking your drone, don't rely on the transmitted video image your phone to know where you are. Once you lose sight of it.. especially on a sunny day and flying it at 100m+ altitude its can be hard to find again visually.

When I first installed this app it didn't allow users to adjust the camera's frame rate. The update corrected this deficiency and seems to work well. I would like to see more features similar to what the GoPro app has, and I would be willing to pay for an app with those abilities using the Cgo2 camera.

Now works on Samsung S6 after a firmware update and discovered the pc downloads and drivers. The picture quality is very good and the video playback is pretty special. Going to be spending a lot of time with this thing attached under my 350 qx3 and with gear vr goggles aswell it's as close to being superman as i am going to get. Thankyou for my new toy.

This app is stable but very limited. You need to be able to adjust more than frame rate. There needs to be controls for white balance, color saturation, gamma level and others. Any or all of these would make for much more useful video without the need for a video editor every time. Yuneec is doing great things already. The Q500 Typhoon is ready for prime time already. They are a very responsive customer oriented company so hoping for a firmware update for the camera and app soon. I'm very happy with this quad and you will be too!

If no other telemetry can be included a live wifi signal strength would be immensely helpful. That's simply pulling a piece of data that android already has and overlaying it on to the screen.

I loaded this app and tried it out on my Blade 350 qx3. The app allows you to see realtime video, take still shots, and start/stop video recording. It does not allow you to record or save still shots on you phone. It will only record them on the SD card located on the camera. It would be nice if they were saved on the phone so you could instantly share them with other people.

It's a great app! Really waiting for some updates ! Maybe telemetry? I'd pay for something like that
