Some functions disappeared. Not sure if android version update is the cause

Love this app so much that I had no doubt purchasing it! Used it for a long time. Now that I have changed my phone to an S5 Neo this app became useless! Apparently there is no support whatsoever... In the end I tried another program and deleted this one!

by Y####:

I found this app to be incredibly useful. However, for some reason it just doesn't see any of the appointments in my calendar any more. Note that I'm using Outlook for Android on Android V4.4.2. Presumably a recent update to Outlook has stopped Mute-o-matic reading its calendar. I miss using this app - there is no viable alternative.

T70%
by T####:

Excellent below Android 5.0 Lollipop. Update rendered this app obsolete for me- there's now a feature in the settings to do what I wanted it for- to mute all calls overnight. Shame, as I paid for it, but that's progress I suppose.

Y70%
by Y####:

It's a great idea, but rather poorly executed. The UI is rather clumsy, and once figured out how to set events, I found that the app doesn't quite work. On my Galaxy Nexus, I can get the app to mute my phone at the beginning of a specified event, but it doesn't unmute the phone at the end of the event. That would have knocked the app down to 3 stars. But I emailed the developer, looking for a solution to the problem, and I never heard back--that's the kiss of death. I don't recommend this app.

Love this app so much that I had no doubt purchasing it! I have use it for the free trial and am relying on it. Awesome that it connects to my calendar. Or better that I can choose every calendar I want to use. And within those calendars I have several options. I am at college right now have always changing schedules from mornings to afternoons. Just added these into my calendar and now I don't have to bother about being disturbed at the wrong time. A big "Thank you!" to the developer!

Works as promised. This has some extras too. e.g. automatic SMS reply with event variables. Nice! This also has features for multiple calendars etc. which I don't need. One thing I miss though. Exception phone numbers are not event based. Exception numbers comes through any event. Still 5 stars! ------------ update: automatic SMS reply hasn't been working for some time now. Mute still works as promised. Empty promises knocks down 2 stars.—--------not working any more

I've used this for several years, but just noticed that there is no longer a "+" icon for adding custom events. Time to find something else.

Just got a new S4 and it updated to Lollipop. This is a crucial app for me and I was pleased to discover it still works. But that's because Samsung put a true mute mode back into Lollipop. App would get 5 stars if it coped with overlapping events, or at least accommodated them with an option in some way.

This has been a great app for years, but now under lollipop it puts my phone in "priority" mode, and doesn't unmute anymore :(

App worked very will until Kitkat. Allowed me to pick a specific calendar from my various Gmail calendars, mute events during specific time periods, and have exceptions for whose call would go through inspite of phone being in silent/vibrate mode. No development since March 2013 ... exception list does not seem to work anymore when the phone is muted. I continue to use this app but override exception list with tasker.

Very practical tool. The ability to automatically text people is great, but the interface needs a little work.

When this app activates your designated quiet mode, it puts up a notification. But it's not a persistent notification. No, that would make too much sense. If you clear this app's notification, it will stay in quiet mode rather than abiding by the designated schedule. What this means is that you have to be sure not to hit the "Clear"button button inadvertently. Idiotic. Also, the author ignores user emails. I have no further use for this crapware.

Limitation with including events by keyword, must be in description not title. Must toggle calendar on/off to hold some settings. Mytouch4g

I wish that it didnt sync to all events in all calendars by default, but once it is set up it works great. I create a special google calendar called "Mute phone" and then when I create events like meetings on my real calendars I just duplicate them onto my mute phone calendar too.

I would give this app 6 stars if I could. This app does everything it says. Love that it can follow calendar and set your own schedules. Awesome app

Very useful app. Love it. Specially at work when I forget to silence my phone during meetings.

This app provides great options for phones but mediocre as far as tablets are concerned. The downfall for tablets becomes apparent when attempting to access the options. For tablets there doesn't seem to be any way to access the options, or otherwise known as general settings. This is needed because it's much better to set the important settings through this avenue. Unfortunately, it is where the greater amount of settings can be accessed. The other gripe about this app is the fact that after every update you need to go and set your calendar settings again which becomes monotonous with multiple calendars. I wish the developer would realize that his app could use a facelift and more stable settings storage.

In some meetings it has not muted my phone. Although that at notifications I see it in a meeting mode, the phone is not muted. Only after I clicked on the notification/open the program it starts to silence the phone. Made me embarrassed meetings!!! Long time no updates....

In general this app is pretty good, but when I travel to a different time zone, the app mutes at the same time as it would at home, instead of adjusting to local time. This can be annoying when the phone unmutes at 5 am instead of six local time.
