Phonto - Text on Photos

I seriously hate the discrimination. Why the iPhone version is better than the Android one? Can it be the same. You even put a note that said don't expect the same version as IOS, like wth man

Love this app. The update didn't fix my problems. The top line is large but the rest is real small when I create a quote or bible verse picture..... I'll just use this app on my old phone since I can't seem to get it to work right on my new phone.

I love this app so much, but it is okay. Why? I loved phonto when I had an iPhone and especially when you have so much freedom on that version. but what do you expect the andriod users to get? oh, you can only add fonts. it made me sad. I switched to picsarts which is alright but, I use this app only to add font. So whenever I get my iPad charged I use the way better version. It makes people disappointed and sad.

I have used phonto religiously until now. Before I had a samsung galaxy amp prime but just recently upgraded to a galaxy halo. What I save is not what appears in the saved product. When i add stroke, the saved product has the stroke much larger or out of line with the word. Words move around to. I'm having to try to find a replacement app now because I use it so heavily. Sorry phonto. :(

Rubbish on the android phone.... could do way more with this app on my old iPhone. WHY ARE THERE SO LESS OPTIONS ON ANDROID IN THIS APP COMPARED TO APPLE??

I HATE that the Android Phonto is doesn't even have near to any of the features IOS has. It's really annoying and I want to use the app, but you can't do anything in this version! I don't want to have to buy an IOS just to use a decent version of this app.

Why do you hate ANDROID so much?! OOF! I hate this app, it also has super bad quality! The creator obviously just likes Apple and hates ANDROID!! UNINSTALLED!! I suggest not installing this useless app if you're using Android.

It's great, and I can't compare it to the IOS because I'vr never had an iphone, but! when i save an image with multiple or even 2 lines of text it screws up the bottom one :( please fix it, thank you!

When I needs text on a photo Phonto - Text on Photos is my goto app. The vendor of my tablet supplies a similar feature with their gallery app - which is hardly comparable because it is not as feature rich & is unstable. What I love about Phonto is all areas or text added to a photo are open til you save the edited photo allowing fine tuning of the added text in which ever colour, sizes, font, positions or tilt you desire. I don't use the app often but when I do I can find all the features I need.

Its good, the text features was very very good because its produce a very hd quality, but why the android ver had lesser features then the ios? I dont really understand whats are you trying to make here, but why dont you put all the ios features to android too? Please add the features, please.

I honestly loved this app. I used to own an IPhone 6s, and used this app all the time. Unfortunately, I switched my iPhone out for a Galaxy 8 since I prefer Samsung over Apple. Phonto works way different for Samsung. It doesn't allow you to import photos, it's harder to add fonts, and they took out a lot of features that you can use on an IPhone. Overall, it's a great app. My only complain with using Phonto on Apple is the fact that you can't zoom in, which I find difficult sometimes, but the creators of this app really need to update Samsung's version of the app.

Before getting an S6, I could install fonts very easily but as soon as I upgraded my phone I couldn't do that anymore for some reason. Nevertheless, I found out another way to upload your own fonts to Phonto. The only thing you have to do is to find the folder "phonto" > "fonts" and move the fonts you want to install there.

Honestly, I'm using Android and I don't think it's..you know, fair. Apple has more features than android. And I think you scmhould really give a update for android. Just for Apple? You gotta be kidding me. And plus, it's more clearer on Apple than android. Oh what's this? Only bug fixes and performance improved? What about the performance improved? Nothing improved for android okay? Just please update for android.

Tried about 5 other text-on-photo apps and hated all of them. I was about to give up, but decided to try one more, and I'm happy that I did. This one is by far the easiest one to use. The fonts are great, and the app isn't bogged down by excessive editing features. If you just want to put nice text on a photo without having to go through a million steps, try this app.

I have no issues with this app when I use it on my tablet, however when I use it on my phone I can only tell if the text color is right if I save the image. This is quite time consuming when I'm making a graphic with a quote. Also, it would be awesome if I were actually able to download my own fonts.

At first I thought this app was the best text on photo app out there and, for Android, it is. However, when I discovered that there's an iOS counterpart and saw other people using it, I became pretty disappointed. Their end result is never blurry and they have many features that I believe would be beneficial on the Android version too. At least give Android users some features that the iOS version has

I use this app pretty frequently and it works well for the most part, but I've recently come across a glitch where any text I place is shifted to the left a good distance whenever I save the image. It looks perfectly fine in the app, but when I try to, say, send the image, whatever text I've added has moved considerably. Also, it seems like the image gets ridiculously compressed when I use this, it ends up looking like I made it on a calculator.

I don't like having frame around my text. I don't like this new version. I liked the old version. In the old version you can change your color and see instantly what you liked or dislike. This new version you can't tell where your border is on your text is going to be until you preview it. I was so satisfied with the old version but getting a new phone i had to redownload the app. It narrows down to this, I do not like this version so I'm going to find something else.

i really love phonto... before i used android. i used to be an apple user and the phonto in App Store is much better than this one. i just want to know why is the app better in apple more than on android. there is a huge difference between the two tbh. in app store's phonto, there are other things you could put on the picture you're editing, but on this one, it's just the text. i mean those things made me love phonto. and also, the phonto of app store is much comfortable to use than this one. plus the quality is bad. in apple, u could pick whether you'll save it in hq or just the normal one but the quality's not bad. i was excited when i got this new phone and immediately downloaded this app, but i got disappointed. it's the same app, but why is it like that?

I love Phonto. Yes. LOVE. but what happened now? when i'm adding text, and adding color patterns, when i save it, it'll glitch or the font size will be small. Please fix this. It is better on Apple Users tho. Please be fair. Please put the things on Apple, please be like Apple. The way you add images, the fonts, please. and Thanl you.

You can not see the change in color for the text, shadow, or stroke while editing. You only see it after saving and going to the location where it's saved. That's annoying. Furthermore, after saving, the font is different sizes. I have to do each word and/or line separately in order to have a uniform font size. Nothing was wrong with the app prior to the update. Please fix then I'll give my stamp of approval.

Worked fine first few times I used it to create text with shadow, but now I can't access the slider which controls the intensity of the shadow...it's no longer there....? This was the primary reason I downloaded the app...needs a bug fix for this issue...extremely frustrated and disappointed.

The pics won't even save correctly. I make perfectly laid out words on an image, and it saves it to my phone incorrectly. Lol. For example, one letter becomes smaller and a different color than the rest. Or the letters squish up and overlap where they were not. I have to save the image several times before it finally saves a copy that's not messed up.

Hey I'm an android user and I read that the iOS version is much better so I really hope that us android users will get to experience the 'cooler' features. I only rated this app two stars as there seem to be a glitch. Whenever I save my pictures with fonts I have added, the font will be shifted a lot further to the right. I've re-downloaded the app but the same problem reappers. PLEASE fix it as I rely heavily on this app and it is extremely annoying thanks.

I just tried it, there seems to be no way to change the text size, only the text box size. To make it even more irritating, there is no help section to learn if it is an option or not. And if it's not an option, the app is useless.

my end product always ended up blurry and worst still, I've tried the iOS version and seriously? Why does it contain so many cool features compared to Android? Please rethink your plans to get more Android users. Basic functions won't attract.

I really wanted to use phonto. I am an android user and THIS is SO unfair. I can't hate it more. It is better for iOS. What about all android users? android phonto is complete trash!! I honestly feel bad for everyone else with android who wants phonto. PLEASE MAKE PHONTO FOR ANDROID.

Love this app but since March 2017 some fonts do not show characters and are not working properly. After image is saved text is distorted. This had been ongoing and still not resolved as of Feb. 1/18 ????

The lack of word wrap is a little annoying, and there are no filters for your background picture. There are a few other issues and annoyances floating around, but... This is hands-down the best "words on picture" app I've found. To get a 5-star rating, allow the canvas size of the new picture to be different than the size of the image chosen as the background, add word-wrap, and add an option to save as an edit-in-progress.

It would be a really awesome if it worked with Android better. I have a cricut machine and need the curved option for projects but it's not supported for Android so I will be deleting it. Fix it and I'll install for sure! ????????

I was excited to use this app, honestly. Then I read the reviews and the Apple users get more than the Android users, why? I tried this app out and spent a long time trying to make something for my Instagram. When I saved it, it was just a black box and everything I made was gone. Absolute time-waster. I wouldn't download if you use an Android phone.

I want to make starterpacks on android. I am new to the app but it doesn't have any options for it. I'll use a plain background and then I'll try to put up a new image and it just deletes what I just did and makes the whole thing that image if you have any ideas please help! This is very recommended for starterpacks but is impossible to make them on android please help!

Tbh this a great app. The only bad thing is that I don't like how the Apple version is better than the Android version. The app should have the same capabilities on either version of phone. If you could fix this that would be great.

This app is a sorry state compared to the the IOS version. How come they get a better version than us! I'm extremely disappointed. This app is so heavily recommended but it's nothing like the IOS version they use. Please give us the same features, you are missing out on so much business by excluding android users from the features. I am unistalling and looking elsewhere.

There is a Problem. I Am Using Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro And when I Use Stroke on text And Save it.. That Stroke Goes Everywhere! Please Fix it!! :( then I will give 5 Star!

Why is it that Android phonto is completely different to apple I was an apple user until i broke my phone and I decided to buy an android I thought all my apps would work the same clearly not. This app is terrible you can't make it multicoloured you can't bend you can do put shadows you can't do the things apples version does I think this incredible unfair. Just because we use android doesn't mean you should limit the things we can do also in apples version you can add pictures on top of the background and no you can't do it on android. With this all being said I will uninstall this app until it's the same as Apple.

If you make it like the apple version where it is a lot more user-friendly and easier to see what youre doing, I would give it 5 stars. Its very ugly and choppy and chunky on androids.

Compared to its iOS counterpart, this isn't great. All the features I really need aren't on this version-- such as changing the color of the stroke on text. It's frustrating because I know it exists in the other version, and my old iPhone hardly works, so I just can't get some of the effects I need. I love this app on my iphone, I just wish the developers would make the android version the same.

Why in the hell is Android being thrown a chicken bone when Apple gets a feast? You can't do nearly as much as Apple can. Either let everyone have tje same equal platform, or don't have it at all.

I really love this app, but why do you hate android users so much? Like Apple devices, they get all the really nice features like adding photos and all but why do we just get to add the text? Same thing for Vont as well. It's the same company as Phonto, but why can't android users also get Vont?
