When I was a kid my grandfather used to make kites for us to fly. He used nothing more than a brown paper bag, some string, a few strips of wood and some "glue" made from flour and water. Oh, and a rag torn into strips for the kite tail.

His kites flew higher than any store bought kite I ever had and I treasure those memories to this day.
