About Proximity Lock
Proximity Lock is a minimalistic app that gives you the option of locking your device using its built-in proximity sensor (usually located adjacent to the earpiece). Whether you're using your tablet on your desk or you forget to lock your phone before putting it in your pocket, Proximity Lock will definitely come in handy.
Since the proximity sensor is one of the few sensors that only uses power when it detects a change, this application uses very little battery.
Permissions:
- the app needs to start on boot
- the app needs the phone state and outgoing calls to temporarily turn off during phone calls

This is a really great app. Just calibrate it correctly, tweak the timeout a bit if it's locking too quickly, and it works great. I've yet to see the impact on battery life as I only installed it about half an hour ago, but so far it seems to be fine.

I love the idea. It works flawlessly. Make sure you follow instructions and cover the proximity sensor BEFORE hitting calibrate. Zero issues on Galaxy Note 5.

Locks my phone and does not allow me to unlock it again, leaving it with just a black blank screen. Edit: It appears that the error was user side. Oops. App works as intended.

Overheating when locked

Was looking for a simple app that would lock with proximity sensor and this does just that. Simple is best
