YESBOOKS is a product of Yesteam Solution Private Limited. It is an android based bookkeeping product using Mobile phone as the front end for Self Help Groups (SHG) and desktop as backend for NGO’s/Federations, Government and Banks. The application helps the SHG’s to maintain their financial records electronically in their regional language, controlled & managed by the NGO’s/Federations, Government and Banks at the backend. NABARD and Yesteam have formed an institutional partnership to implement the system in a self sustainable revenue model.

New System
• Preparing and maintaining the SHG accounting books electronically with low hassle.
• By implementing YESBOOKS, a group member can enter details of their transactions in their mobile/Tablet
(GPRS enabled) which will be immediately updated on the server.
• Application is available in J2ME/Android platforms.
• Members can view their group transaction anytime of the day and get their reports printed with the help of
NGOs’ if they need a hard copy.
• Attendance of the group meetings can be logged in regularly.
• Government authorities can get their MIS report on daily, weekly and monthly basis on their desktop or through
automated E-mail system in Yesbooks.
• Government can monitor the creation of groups and their performance when subsidy and other SHG related
decisions are taken.
• Members receive monthly SMS containing their savings and loan balance.

Benefits to the Banks
• Banks can verify the members detail including photograph by entering the ID number (Ration card/Election
Card).
• Using this system dual membership can be avoided which will help the recovery of NPS in existing groups.
• By entering the ID details bank can verify the existing savings, loan with other banks etc.
• Credit rating of the groups can be accessed on Yesbooks which validates the group performance based on their
savings and loans.
• Banks can generate reports based on their branch, village and panchayat to follow-up individually.

Benefits to the NGO
• There is no capital cost for implementing this system.
• All the groups under the NGO can be arranged Bank wise, Branch wise, Union wise, Panchayat wise according
to the requirement.
• Day to day monitoring can be done through mobile and desktop through their login ID.
• Loan repayment obligation of various groups based on the due date and loan repaid and overdue can be
generated on daily basis for effective monitoring.
• Accounting is made easy, so the NGO need not intervene in the quarrels of the groups.
