I use it almost daily and have no issues.

Nice to see the reviews they allow posted. But the reviews that have been most useful are hidden away as "Not Recommended". Yelp should not be censoring feedback if the businesses aren't able to. And it seems that negative reviews are hidden but never the positive comments. Most of the not recommended reviews are quite helpful and insightful. Yelp is blocking some very valid and well thought out statements, many citing specific experiences. Stop filtering reviews and will give more stars.

How do people not realize what all you can do with Yelp?? Not only do I now review things, but I use this app constantly to get insider knowledge of where to find the nearest waterfall...or best running trail...or brunch that includes unlimited mimosas...or hardware store that stays open latest... It's an think tank in your pocket that magically morphs you into a savant...and it does it FOR FREE. Thanks, Yelp!

I love Yelp, been using it forany years but just recently started contributing to the community. The app overall works very good can be sluggish at times but hard to deteine if it's the service of the carrier or their servers. Definitely when it comes to choosing new and exciting restaurants I always look on Yelp.

Forces you to download app to confirm reservations. Why? I didn't need the app to make them and you texted me to confirm. Why can't I text back or go to the mobile site to confirm. Oh that's right, so they can shove ads in your face. This app is getting disabled with no permissions, except for the rare occasion I need it.

There's a bug. when i scroll down screen and touch review stars, i don't mean to write a review. I am simply scrolling down for more contents. It is quite annoying directed to write review when I don't want to. This happens so frequently. Also, I go back with nothing in my draft review, still asked if I want to keep the draft.

I literally haven't been able to use the app in months, support is unhelpful. I even have a new phone and the same error is popping up. It wouldn't be so bad but the mobile site is utterly useless.

Yelp is only concerned with promoting businesses despite a businesses moral or ethical behavior. If a person of color is attacked at a reviewed establishment, Yelp will do everything it can to hide it. Yelp is does not care for the safety of people of color. I no longer have faith in this app.

What's the point of an app that supposed to make it easier for you to review something when you actually have to take a lot more time by going to the main website and approving the review you reviewed on your app. Annoying.

I've started enjoying Yelp! I love to write but I'm super lazy. Somehow, I feel motivated enough to write reviews on Yelp, as it is a mobile platform. I'm feeling a bit lazy now as well. I'll edit this review and post a refined version later.

App delete bad reviews and its a false paid advertisement. The buisness owner pay yelp to reply, response and make there restaurant look good, when they are not. Yelp is making it harder for common people to post. It deletes bad review. Good review is not posted by real costomer.

Used to love the yelp website but now it's unusable with it advertising the app on mobile don't want a cluttered advertisment ridden piece of junk taking up phone space. Don't think il use yelp much anymore till I can use the browser version.

Stable, quick and useful. Great way to find new restaurants and see what people are saying about them. I'd like to see better sorting capabilities, grouping capabilities, and filtering capabilities. For example, I can't view all closed restaurants in my bookmarks. I can't find restaurants near addresses

Yelp is a sham... They remove reviews without notice. Example... seeing 38 reviews to now 6 on one particular business is very questionable... not just one of mine but others as well I find out yelp is removing them. In turn negating the whole point of a review app Sham sham sham when it comes to finding out about bad business practices Waste of time

I wrote a slightly negative review describing how a local business games pricing and it made me stop going there. So, the business must have complained to yelp who then removed my review for not being first hand experience even though it was based on 50+ visits.

What is up with the Android versions having so many bugs? Clicking on tios freezes you out, uploading profile pics freezes, etc...people have Androids as well not just IPhones!

All, in all I think it is a good app to use for deciding where the best places to go are. I just hope some people from the establishments cannot use this against you or make their own reviews.

I just noticed a couple of things All my reviews that I have left for bussiness from 1star-5 stars ,They all have been filtered, whats the point of me even leaving reviews of they are not recommended, I Take pictures and do check ins and I feel its all a waiste of my time, Whats the point of leaving reviews I want to delete my acct how can i do that?

The place were people who dont know how to cook are judging chefs. The place were Elites are so cool that never give 5 stars... just tje ridiculous people gather app

Would have gotten four or even five stars except for the following: * Search filters are still lacking. Can't search for e.g. cafés that accept credit cards (important if I'm out of cash in e.g. Germany where half the cafes only accept cash). * Categories are not always helpful. For instance, many bakeries also serve coffee and I would expect them to appear when searching for "coffee" or "cafes" but they don't. * There's the constant concern about how much companies can affect their reviews or rankings by bribing Yelp. Yelp is still my go-to app for finding restaurants and cafes (unless I already have Google maps open). But I'm constantly hoping the Yelp data will just be incorporated into Google maps at some point.

Very friendly people working here but the food portions was extremely small. For the Valentine's menu the entree was about a 1 inch cross section of a piece of cauliflower. For a 70$ set menu the portion is unacceptable.

Useful tool for finding good eats. Average rating seems to be more like 4 than 3 though, so take reviews with a grain of salt, just like your eggs. The UI for writing reviews could be better.

Yelp is rip off please do not sign up you will spend $600 for nothing in 5 days customer service sucks

Who doesn't love an app that will tell me where the best food is, and tell me where friends and family are getting the best? I like to use it to find new and interesting places to eat. It's especially helpful when you're traveling out of state or internationally.

Slowed down my phone after install, eats battery life. Paid reviews and promotion of places, not trustworthy

A huge help! There's so many fun places that I never knew were near me plus the hidden gems that no one talks about! Love it!

Lol don't force me to install your crappy app by restricting the amount of reviews I can read on your website...it functions though so too each his own I guess :/

I like being able to see what other's think about a place before I try'em out, Yelp contends that they don't show favoritism, so I can trust their reviews.

I used to hear that it was not a trustworthy app but I like make my own opinions and after I tried it for myself, I find that it is a very useful and reliable app.

Overall helpful but information for businesses but, results can be very misleading. Some businesses have shutdown or moved locations and they are not updated by Yelp. The only way to know if a business is still running/not changed location is Through the users reviews stating the change. You'd think Yelp would have a better check-in or updating system (like Waze and Google Maps) and often times they have the wrong business hours listed.

Best in not just restaurant reviews but all business reviews. It tells you what's nearby and/or best, runs fast, and includes nearly all Yelp desktop features. Use it & love it.

First of all I want to say I won't use Yelp anymore I've left a dozen or more reviews. Come to find out none of them count. I like leaving reviews if a company is good or bad. I trust Google more than Yelp. What's the point of leaving a review what's the point of using an app if nothing counts. I'm a high contributor on Google and I like leaving reviews for businesses. I started using Yelp and for some reason my reviews don't count I found out. So long story short I'll never use Yelp again. Just my opinion.

Yelp is great!! A very good place to find a good "fill in the blank" from food to getting your car cleaned up great app bar none.

Great way to find anything and everything you want to do. As well as find out if this is a good clean place with good service, or one to avoid.

As long as the people are honest, the info is very useful. It is rare to find a questionable review, but they are out there.

I downgraded from 5 stars to 3. I'm editing my review to explain why. I don't know what's happened but now I can no longer see but a few photos. For instance, restaurant photos, it says there are supposed to be 200 photos of the food served in an establishment and like 100 of the restaurant interior but there are only like 30 photos total for each category. A picture is worth a thousand words as the saying goes and it's true . What's happened with all the photos yelp??? I use Yelp often. All the tools you need to investigate most businesses in one place. However, beware of some of the reviews. Some people give unnecessarily negative reviews for very highly respected establishments. Use your own judgment when reading overly critical reviews.

Hate your pushy attitude to install the app just to read the reviews.Will uninstall.

It helps me identify cool new places or events to try. I don't use it for much else.

I like Yelp to find places to eat and to review businesses to help people out by sharing my experience there. You should read more than a few reviews before deciding to go to a place though because sometimes people are too picky.

I really like yelp... i just wish prices would be available to compare different places.
