NAS Cast for Android
Too many bugs. Limited to 48 videos not even a fraction of my collection
Does what it's says and great support. If using with a Chromecast use Handbrake to encode.
Works great. Was able to find my Nas no problem. And loaded all my movies quick.
QNAP NAS with onboard Twonky Media Server serving a Chromecast in the back of a projector makes a 'NetFlix'-like experience with your own catalogue.
Exactly what I was looking for. Works like a charm.
Working perfect now. One of the only cast apps that you can search films by name. For less hassle, use FREEMAKE to covert films to MP4
Have some media on a dlna server I was booting up my ps3 to play. Now I can do it from my phone. Worth the money.
It's crap it doesn't work and i sent an email as report with pictures, and i got email with nothing i want refund it
As far as I can tell anyway. Unable to get a refund as well. Though that's likely the fault of Google.

Can't connect to Asus 68r ? Says no files available but there are more then a few.
Only finds about 1/3 of the movies on my NAS. There is no rhyme or reason as to what it finds, video type wise. If it found all videos then this app would be fantastic... but since it doesnt I would advise not to purchase.

Very good app.. Allows me to cast videos out of my home nas .. It would be good if they allowed to switch audio languages in video files
Xbox one wasnt found unfortunately.
Recent release fixed the issues! Works again! App still occasionally fails to locate any devices on start up, requiring close & re-open; and won't consistently show active file when clicking chromecast icon. // No longer works after update. Boooo.
My favourite casting app.
App works great to cast my Seagate GoFlex Home and Seagate Wireless Plus movie collections both locally on my tablet and to my Chromecasts. Setup support regarding version changes has been very personal and excellent!

It can discover my mkv files but fails to play them on chromecast. Keeps giving the failed to load on device error
Update: it's now even better than it was. We'll done. Does what it says in the tin. Definitely worth the small cost of a pound. Very good and easy to use. Looking forward to more updates and features.
OK this works but has some limitations. First it doesn't list all videos in a folder, I have a folder with nearly 30 videos yet the app shows 6, all are mp4. Not all mkv files will play with audio, developers say it's a Chrome cast issue I'm not so sure as Chrome browser apps, like videostream, send the same file to the cast and the mkv file play with full audio without issue. So to me the Chrome cast does play these files.

Not too well on my Nexus 5 device (4.4.4) though. Easy to use, nice UI. Emailed developer was grateful for me letting him know and he will look into the Nexus 5 issue.
That's all it said seemed to connects to the Comcast but couldn't find my local content
No longer works after update. Boooo.
The app worked till i tried to play an avi then it kept crashing on me and would mot stay open till i completely killed the app. Then i restarted my phone and it would not find my NAS. Would wait for a fix but i was looking for a program mot not in a week or a month. -- As a reply Avi is supported if you want to use these get the app called local cast.

It's the best app to have if you have a mycloud.
I had an issue of no audio with my first video. But everything else has played fine since. Will bump to five stars in a few weeks as long as I don't get any other issues. Nice and easy to use. Pinning is a good feature most other apps don't use or make way more complicated to use.
Galaxy S4. Constantly force closing.

Works fine but no audio for mkv, useless to me since I have only mkv's.
Worked for widows but it did not work with my Nas4free server. There seems to be a port issue. Being able to change the port would take care of this problem.
Finds my nas but dose not let me send the video to my chromecast? Help???
Woot woot
The asp will connect to my WD NAS but never shows the drive contents. After selecting the drive I get the loading circle and it never goes away. This so had one purpose and it failed to deliver.

Works intermittently. Must uninstall and reinstall app for it to work, which is a pain. // No longer works. At all. // Recent release fixed the issues! Works again! App still occasionally fails to locate any devices on start up, requiring close & re-open; and won't consistently show active file when clicking chromecast icon. // No longer works after update.
