About Coin Miner Trial
Use your phone to mine Bitcoins , Litecoins or any of their variants.
It supports the new stratum protocol for mining.
This is a trial version which you can use to test the application for one day. If you like it please consider downloading the pro version from Google Play.
In order to be able to mine Bitcoins or Litecoins you have to have an account on a mining pool and a wallet where the mining pool operator will send you your reward. The pool operator will reward you if your work on a block is accepted. This is indicated by the shares counter.
Please note that you can mine for other coins apart from bitcoins or litecoins. you just have to know which variant of the two is. For example, dogecoin is a variant of litecoin so you should select litetcoin on the radio button and specify the url for your dogecoin pool.

If you do not have a mining pool account and you want to do a quick test of the application then you can test it using my pool account. select it from menu and hit start.
the mining engine used by the application is a port to Android of Pooler's open source cpuminer.

Too many accounts to set up. Would be good if the app directed users to the other accounts and fully explained what they are. To be honest would be best if it set these up automatically. I set up a wallet and a pool account but app wouldn't recognise the url.

Can't explain how amazing this is, but my device thermal throttles to prolong the life of my device, and is too slow, but still amazing that it runs cpuminer which is the best miner for an ARM A-9 cpu.

My phone found 19 blocks in a 2 hour timeframe using this app. I was mining DiamondCoin (DMD) which has a difficulty of 4 at the time. Works like a charm. I also mined Cryptogenic Buillon (CGB) on it as well but found no blocks. But that's part of the mining game. PROS: Easy to use, inexpensive, great way for you to earn coins while you sleep. CONS: Eats battery...but a lot of modern day apps do anyway. My recommendation: Buy it. Yea you won't get the MegaHashes/Sec like the expensive rigs but if you mine in a pool you can earn some pretty decent coins. I started out with 0 DMD and now I have .007 DMD and the block reward for that coin is 1 DMD. For the price you will break even in a day. The rest is just free coins to trade on the exchanges for other coins or to hold long term. --Pavon

But still works great. I got some dogecoin, so it definitely does what it was ment to do. Crashes a lot and makes my phone feel like its going to explode....but I will probably end up buying pro my only suggestion is that you could set it to mine on WiFi only

That's about 24¢ a month. But worked without advanced setup, just pointed it at the pool and started it. Only ran while plugged into power, not sure how much this would drain battery, but I assume a lot.

I like the app and would probably buy it, but if I figured correctly, I would have to run it 24 hours a day for about 6 months to break even. Just not worth it.
