Yale CCTV for Android
I use this app on my Samsung s5. The app keeps losing my serial number so I have to input the number everytime I open the app which is inconvenient. I have now saved the serial number in memo so I copy and paste it in the app everytime I want to check the cameras. This isn't satisfactory at all. Does not work at all on my lenovo tablet...just keep getting 'get failed'
Get failure all the time. On the odd occasion it connects it takes ages
You've got more chance of watching ITV than the cctv. Works, doesn't work, work's , doesn't work. SORT IT OUT YALE.
when this app will actually do what you promised your customers it will? Show some respect to your customers. Useless piece of junk.
Poor, having to put serial number in all the time and keeps dropping out
Stoped working after few weeks of installation
Have had for over a month now and it works very well 99% of the time. Very happy so far
Easy to set up just scan the barcodes can now see what my dogs get up too...
Get failed......GET LOST!!!!!
How do u get password
Rubbish
A nice app that works well
Works Perfectly
This app was working fine till 4 days ago when it suddenly stopped. I tried everything but still had no luck.
Crap ,wont even connect, trade description act comes to mind!
Slow to open app. Slow to stream a camera. Buffering&camera fail most of the time Pics good in day. Crap at night... Big name brand falling behind everyone else here... Now bought a canary camera. More reliable and faster... also better quality
Would be better if app sent a notification to warn you when cameras have been activated.
Can keep an eye on my home from anywhere. it's very reassuring :)
I found it straight forward getting the cctv live app to work on S7 andriod and the wife's iphone. Not tried linking it to the alarm system yet nor figured out how the cctv can be viewed on a Mac but that's irrelevant for this review. Loses one star as app can be improved for android to include a live cam save feature when closing n opening app
The bad ratings are uncalled for. This system works flawlessly when setup correctly. For it to work outside of your home WiFi, port 34567 (TCP&UDP) needs to be opened on your router/firewall to allow the app to connect to your cameras. Get someone that knows what they are doing to help before you slate a great system! The default password is blank... If you followed the instructions you would know this, connect to tv first. Very happy thanks.
Yale cctv is advertised as easy set up this couldn't be further from the truth and trying to get remote viewing is ridiculous I've been able to view other people's security cameras who I don't even know so who can view mine..... don't waste your money
Does not work with s7 edge work with s6 edge perfect all I get is Get failure need to fix app. Aug 2016 I think I've cracked it I downloaded app 1.3.2 old one add all your serial no try it still get failure phone off then update app to 1.4.1 working fine now hope this helps and it's end of the problem for me
Works well now after reinstalling and having to reset password . watched the wife put the washing out . thinking now of getting more cameras for the blind spots and possible alarm system to link with
Installed for last 2 days, either is connection fail or automatically deleted the app itself. So have to re-enter username and password again. Nearly 9 out of 10 times was connection fail or invalid password.
Dissapointed in yale considering the camera kit costs 250 pound you would expect something a lot better in terms of app quality used to work OK but lately seem to get a lot of the get failure when trying to get into my cameras works after about 5 or 6 attempts the user interface look terrible and cheap and when they do connect you get about literally 15 seconds of playback before it disconnects can really rely on yale when my house is being robbed the app hasn't been updated in months needs major improvemen
Not working just says get fail every time so frustrating as I only installed this system so I could use it with my android phone
Keeps coming up "Get failure" on my android phone but works great on the wife's I phone.so one star from me :-(
Great app when working but I'm getting yale cctv has stopped working then I have to re scan the code and login again happening 5 or more times a day needs sorting out asap update after a few months use still keep getting has stopped working once a week still needs work
Everything seems to be working perfect. But how come apple users get all cameras on one screen please make this possible for android users
app does not work... to be told by cus serv to not bother downloading and they dont k ow when will be up.and running
Ive tried UPNP and NAT. It does not work via the app. Needs sorting ASAP!!!
It won't work for long if you try to connect through the yale server using the bar code (frustrating, I know). If you forward ports in your router and access it directly then it works well.
I bought the system and downloaded the app and it was great......until i updated, now it wont work over 4g. It is fine over wifi. Spent an hour on the phone to yale and couldnt resolve it so now i cannot view remotely
Finally, after the upgrade I was able to see my cameras from the app

The app freezes all the time on the phone and tablet and keeps dropping off. Really frustrating and absolutely useless. Bought this one mainly because of the app so feel mis-sold
Works on my old tab 3 7.0 but wont work on my s5. Paid out for alarm and matching cctv so i could control them all from my phone..... very disappointed!
What's the point in writing a review if the company does nothing about it, Doesnt work!!!!
Works perfectly, top class

Worked initially while I tried to direct the cameras. WiFi dropped out then it would not reconnect. Ports opened on router but still no joy. Not good enough.
