Quick Dictionary

One of the only apps that offers to search for a word's meaning while reading, therefore without encountaring any distractions while tying to read. However, I would have like for this app to display a meaning of a difficult word in other languages as well, since english isn't my first language. Thanks!

The app is really good. It is actually what a e book reader demands for... You don't have to change the app for seeing the meaning which maintains the flow of reading. It's a 4 out of 5 Cz the don't give example sentences of the word which may help us to understand the meaning better

Nice app. It not only saves our searched words but also gives us option to save the exact sentence as the context for those words. I really love it. Only problem is the obstructive ads that pop up suddenly in full screen. That's very annoying.

MAKE LOOKING UP SUPER EASY! (HELP) It's simple. Like in Amazon Kindle, you can look up words without juggling between applications. Long press a word, click on copy and the definition pops up. Moreover, all your look ups are saved in a customizable list with editable definitions. It does not just save time but also helps retain interest that tend to wither ad you switch between applications repeatedly. HELP! What do I do for the app to automatically save the sentence as example?

What's quick in this dictionary? Ads pop up every time while searching a word for meaning, it's very irritating, switching from ads back to reading app and causes loss of focus while reading. IT'S BETTER TO USE AN OFFLINE DICTIONARY THAN THIS CRAP.

During the five decades that I've watched TV, there has ALWAYS been a word (or words) I needed to look up. Even with a smartphone in hand these days, I was always scrambling to look up a word--until I found this app. IT'S AMAZING!

I like how small the thing on the screen is. Good dictionary! If you want nothing on your screen, get Look Up dictionary where you just hit copy on a word to get the definition. (Your word still copies.) If that's annoying then this is the app for you. I have both because I'm into English. :P

The good: The basic functionality of the app is great i.e. looking up word meanings, storing them and their sentences is great and works well. The bad: When u've saved up as many words as I have(more than 100), browsing them for later revision really becomes a chore. Pressing the back button while revising those words takes you back to the top of the list (newest word) rather than where you left off. I wish you can also mark words you've learned and said words would be moved to a different/learned list.

The app really very useful to me especially reading ebooks or correcting by documents. The only problem I have noted is that while in offline and when I try to find a meaning for word it shows 'offline consists of nouns and adverbs only' like that..

Awesome app for quick meanings while reading!!! Only problem I am facing is the copy service automatically gets turned off. That annoys me to go there everytime to turn it on. How to keep it permanently on?

Very useful app. It's easy to find definitions from any selectable text within other apps, and if you can't select a word you can use their widget to type it in and search for it. I also like that it automatically makes a list of recently looked up words, so you can review them if necessary.

it's kind of boring to copy words every time. It will be easier with single click to view the meaning of the word rather copying each time

Plz one more thing u should add that is some backup of created list of words.... through email or pdf . I lost my last list of words ....Thanks

Excellent app. However I would like to suggest one change, please use first letter of the word capital in your meaning list. Just that much change made your app not as great as it is.

Adverts and pop-ups are annoying and you guys should at least try to manage their frequency.

I have to change my reviews from 5 star to 2 star, this is because I have bought Pro version of this and I'm still being asked to purchase Pro version. Also Its telling to go on Wednesday page when searching for complex words, it doesn't show the definition but every time it's forcing to go on web page to get answer. Fix this issue and you will get your five star rating back.

It is a good app but keeps asking to rate it. It pissed me off so much that I rated it 1 instead of a 4

The typing widget does not stay for long, it vanishes in a short time, which is very irritating. Also the copy service does not work for much time, it stops working automatically and I have to switch it on very frequently, I own a Samsung Galaxy A7, doesn't work well in my device.

When I'm reading news, after a certain time the pop up dictionary stops working. When I open the Quick Dictitapp and go back to reading news again, it then works but again stops after a certain time. Please fix this soon.

It's the app I was looking for! Povides brief meaning of words with synonyms- enough to carry on your readings and you find the meaning instantly without going anywhere! Another great thing it works upon any reading platforms -apps or blogs whatever!

After switching from Apple to Android one thing I missed the most was the "Dictionary" This app beautifully bridges that gap to a point. Meanings for few words are missing which can retrieved from online search option. Thanks for the app!!

It does not show meanings in offline properly. It says we can see nouns, verbs, adjectives , but actually we can't see them in off-line

The best app to get instant definitions in the market. What i especially like is that it is not intrusive like other apps that demand to invade your phones info. Don't look any further. I tried all of them. This is the best instant dictionary.

All you need to do is read. Rest is taken care of by Lithium. Features: Best thing about it is the scroll reading mode. It is a digital library for books on your phone, it arranges them, all of them, at one place. Silky touch. Suggestion: Inbuilt dictionary.

This is the only dictionary to have this awesome and obvious feature of selecting the words & showing their meaning on the go without any time wastage and stress. This was a necessary thing. Hats off.

I had to unfortunately lower and change my review. After using this sofrware a while I found many major problems with it. It was great at first because I could edit word and create groupings. However it crashed constantly and had a lot of missing words some more common then others. Also if you researched for a word you edited you wouldn't get your edited version, you'd get the original limited version. Very dissapointed it had so much potential. There is no point to the best feature. Sorry

Do install this great app!! It saves your time by taking away the hassle of looking the meaning of any word elsewhere.

Its really good. Difficult words don't interrupt me while reading anywhere on my device . Google search option makes it even more handy in case if you are not satiated with dictionary's results. Great work !!

After new update we need not to select the app which you want to show the dictionary, simply love it and your concept really awesome. But still I have pblm with online Web reference

I'm habitual to this app. I became restive when it stopped working but thanks to support team I managed to restore it.

As someone with weak english vocabulary, this app has proved to be extremely helpful and convinient. Its simple but effective and saves a lot of time and effort in looking words using other sources.

My Kindle app dictionary won't pop up most of the time. This app works all of the time, in all apps, & it is simple to activate.

Guys. Please use the widget provided with this app if the search icon disappears on flushing the RAM.

Just moved from ios was missing the define feature this app comes close to mimicking the behaviour, least intrusive and doesn't require to root your device !

What I like about this app is the pop up definitions. It's not like apple's in built dictionary but close enough

I have been looking for app like this for years, finally reading news in ENGLISH won't tire me. I hope in the next update you add a native American English sounds to listen the word in the top proper way. Thank you so much.

I really like being able to read anything and look up the word right there on the fly without having to go into another dictionary app to find the meaning of a word. This is a great app and it works just like it's supposed to. Thank you so much!

I find it quite easy and useful on daily basis for the purpose of reading novel and other books. It will be perfect if the word database for offline mode is increased and simple way of see the meaning by highlighting text rather than copying
