Yahoo Mail – Stay Organized

Since Yahoo! put adverts at the top of my inbox I must have accidentally clicked on adverts about 200 times. The adverts are made to look like genuine emails. Sometimes you go to click on an email and an advert appears so you click on that. Great money making for Yahoo!, but I'd be REALLY upset if I was an advertiser paying Yahoo! for these fake clicks. Notifications only work ocaisionally.

I think when i needed an email app this was not available or i just didnt know how to use it. Used gmail and it was alright untill it said i couldnt log back in for some reason.. decided to check the yahoo mail again and very glad i did. Seems simple to use so far. Haven't had it for a long time so i'll be generous and give it a 4 star. After a while i'll re- write a review for better info. As of now, i would recommend it to anyone.

I preferred the old format because it allowed me to view just the email text without excessive images that hinder allocation of space and which have nothing to do with the actual text of the email itself. Why not put these colorful icons/images within the body of the email itself, so when one looks at their email account, those images are hidden within their respective emails. This will allow ONLY the emails themselves as an entire box, to show ONLY text, thus allowing more room to allow tools such as "delete" to be readily available.

Just really use it for my email. Don't really use all the extras. I wish there was a way to delete emails, say like, around 1000 at a time. I tend to not clean out my box so right now....it really is ridiculously outta control. About no complaints here. I've been using Yahoo for over 15 yrs now. Thanks for the great service Yahoo!!

This is my favourite email app. Outlook for Android is similar but it wouldn't connect to all my email accounts. Blue Mail has a better interface but I don't trust them with my data. Gmail is flakey and emails keep coming back into your inbox after you think you have deleted or filed them. Well done Yahoo for making a user friendly app that works perfectly.

Too many unknown mails entering?

Yahoo mail app overrides my phone's notification settings whenever a new email comes in. Prevents the phone from making or receiving phone calls until the new message notification is cleared. Highly dissatisfied with this potentially dangerous override. Can't think of an instance where I'd need to send an emergency email, but can think of several reasons being able to make or receive a call urgently would occur. This is a dangerous problem that needs to be corrected.

Guys ...stop blocking access to the other apps where i wanna use Yahoo account. Your app is reallt bad so u prefer to use the one provided by android. I don't understand why u block the access to it...just to use your Yahoo app which is bad. Stop doing this. Blocking access to something which works does not make your app work. Only might make me give up Yahoo all together. Got It?

This app has become very frustrating. I have to open it, then close it, then open it again before I can do anything. If I don't, and I open a mesg, all I get is the little thinking about it icon. If I choose several messages to delete, it just sits there doing nothing. I'm also only able to perform one MAYBE two actions before I have to close the app and reopen it to continue.

I like the app. But theres one thing you can improve on. How to delete multiple emails at one time. You can only delete one email at a time..... It takes forever!! As far as secure emails... ive been hacked 2 times that i know of when i had a pass word. NOW that i DON'T have a password my emails are secure. So if you make a way to delete multiple emails at a time ill give you 5 stars. Everything else im happy with.

For more than a month, sending email with this app never actually sent a single message. Last update fixed that bug. Messages were sent to drafts folder quietly instead. Found like a dozen 'unsent' messages there, never to reach destination. Two stars only, for releasing such a bugged version. What a dissapointment... People rely on emails, you know!

Uses to love Yahoo mail, not anymore. Randomly stops working, like last night for approximately an hour. Sometimes it will send messages, sometimes not. Try to move emails to different folders- says moved, but then they flash back into the same spot they were in. Beyond frustrating.

The new update of yahoo mail app is seriously much buggy than previous version. It takes 2 to 3 try for everything you do on your mailbox from sending mail to reading received emails despite of having 4G connectivity. Also loading of advertisement is much faster than loading of mails(which is core function of the app). I am using yahoo mail for more than decade and during my usage I have found this time the worst service by you guys. At least consider the feedback from consumers for improving Yahoo services. I hope you understand my concern over issue of this version of Yahoo mail and act accordingly. Thank you.

It's good because it's convenient. Other than that it's okay. Sometimes it has glitches and doesn't send mail out right away (goes into outbox). I've compared it to sending yahoo mail on my computer which doesn't have those glitches and sends stuff to the outbox for an hour or two.

Don't bother paying for yahoo help they just send you around in circles with no help what so ever . they give you case number and that's it .then send you back to the help page loop with no hope of getting out then your account. You can't access the contact button again . I had password that had been replace with key number which is sent to another yahoo email I can't sign into because the key number sent to the other account I can't sign into because the key is set to the first yahoo account ..just going around in circles with no help from yahoo even when your pay . useless . building up a nice collection of case number .I've been told to sign out of my only working email and sign into another without an key which is sent to another email which is signed out

This app is a pain in the..! It not sends the emails. It keeps them for hours in Outbox! It's not ok, and I cleared cache and data, reinstalled, and acts the same! And also, the received mails appear in Inbox after 18-24 hrs, with the arriving time as of 18-24 hrs ago!

It's not as good as the PC version. I like it when a certain past email is specific to the day instead of 1 day, 2d. Also I don't quite trust the security of yahoo just yet. I don't know what security measures are in place so I would feel comfortable knowing my emails, contacts aren't in jeapordy every time I go online. Let's face it, it took Yahoo corporate to even make a statement that they were hacked and millions of people who used yahoo to pay, well anyone that their personal, financial and everybody they know will have all this out there on the black market for sale

My Samsung email app allows me to combine multiple emails into a single inbox. On this app I must individually check my two yahoo emails. Still does the job but it is far more convenient to open the app and have all the new emails together

I can no longer run yahoo email my older phone or tablet. It used to work but yahoo has decided to abandoned us. Time to switch to gmail. Also, messages constantly get stuck in outbox and never get delivered. I hate it...

I hate the fact that yahoo forces me to use their app. I prefer having a choice of which app I use for email, not what yahoo wants me to use. And recently they've started to screw with my password and continually wants me to "verify my account" today is happened 3 times. It's ridiculous.

Emails keep getting stuck in the outbox for no apparent reason, which has caused me no end of trouble. Also, the search function doesn't work properly. And the app design is not intuitive, requiring users to learn the meaning and location of various icons and options by trial and error. Overall, a pretty poor app.

I really love the app, the display and the security it provides. The only issue I have is the delivery delay. It takes 10 to 15 minutes. I've read its a security scan mesure. I'm not on a rush but it's long when your for a fast answer from someone. Other than that I love it.

I didn't ask for it, I will never use it, I don't need it. Why can't I click somewhere to refuse it. I am an old woman. Getting used to these gizmos is difficult enough never mind you keep changing formats and adding new whatnots. Hate you!!!!

The only thing I don't like is the sign in through a key no. Because if u overseas and the app is not with u .. one can not sign in on the PC without it . It's very annoying and inconvenience.. pls change the system of signing in like Hotmail. Simple and easy..

Can't delete all the emails at once like I could on my app on my Samsung. Ever since I've had to download this app my phone overheats for some reason. I'm slowly moving all of my info to Google and will get rid of my Yahoo mail.

I like it. But I am forced to use it. Because I kept getting notifications that my email could not sign in to yahoo. Would have a key code text to me. Use it to sign in, had to change my p.w. several times and still kept coming up the same. Can't sign in to yahoo email. Gave up and downloaded the app. This is my very important account. I am being forced to use this app. And I hate the add at the top.

Very organized and can do just about anything. The only problem ai have is not being able to find how to block spam emails anymore. There used to be a block button but I can't find it anymore on both the app and on laptop.

I cant login in to this app. And i cant login to my account. Cause need to recovery pin. The email i put for recovery has a same problem. And i didnt bring my other cell phone for recovery pin via sms. What should i do ? This email is important for me

I hate this new update I want my old Yahoo mail back if I can't figure out a way of getting it back I'm going to uninstall it. I can't believe I'm saying this. But I've been with Yahoo mail since 2003 and I'm really considering uninstalling this app

Ok. Drains my phone battery a lot. Ads at the top are a little frustrating and annoying I can't have a joint inbox, or don't know how to. I have more than one email address and would be good to look at all my emails at the same time. I only have this app because Yahoo was being a pain when I used my phone's email app. I wish I didn't have to use this app or fix it so it doesn't drain my battery and so I can see all my emails together.

Always quirky. Puts the wrong titles on emails, doesn't alert me to pertinent emails, and just erased a draft I spent an hour writing. Now it just hid or deleted most of my emails? Awful.

I came back to this app many years after switching to the email app that came with the phone. Problems with that one prompted me to try this one again. It works great, it's easy to use, and now there are settings that I would have appreciated before.

I can't access my email account after the update and verification phone number has been disconnected so then what alternatives are there? The security verification is flawed.

The apps tells me that my inbox is empty. Next to my email address in the account list, it's showing 99+. When I go to my inbox via a web browser, there they are. The app is not syncing all of my emails. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Good thing I don't use yahoo for important emails or I'd never get them.

For some reason my stock email app on my phone is no longer working with Yahoo so I've been forced to download and actually use the actual Yahoo app. Forcing people to switch does not solve the issue of functionality. There's a reason why I don't like your app. IT'S NOT USER FRIENDLY.

When I delete email using the app, my email still not deleted when using a web browser. When I change my password using a web browser. The app is still connected to the account. In short, if your account was hacked (it is was in the past, and thank you yahoo for not disclosing it), changing password may not solve the issue of the hacker has already using an app to connect to your account.

I have not use it that much, but I think it's OK , and I think it will serve my purpose. The app has affinity for spam messages. If there away to eliminate that aspect I would love it.

Smooth interface, kinda hard to justify using it when my email app allows me to transition between both yahoo & Gmail in an instant.. But, it's useful either way. Like the icons next to the emails. Helps with visual recognition.

The selection feature should be like where we can open and read mail while selecting and icons should be shown while selecting instead of checkboxes(checkbox looks kinda old).
