Dictdroid Dictionary

I am using a Nexus 5 and the new version no longer allows me to type in word search on main page! Absolutely useless.

App can't now even start. It crashes every time on startup.

Authors deserve to be thrown out from Android Market. Do not use this POS

It was a very nice app. The last update made it user unfriendly

I find this app very useful. It has very simple interface and multi-language support.

Latest update has much poorer GUI and keeps crashing. In fact simply not fit for purpose. Shame because the previous version was really great. Please can we reverse out the update?

Back to the old version please.

Previous version was better, it was easy to swipe between traduct languages, you should change that again

It is not a true multilingual dictionary where one expects to see several meanings at the same time for one word as in the case of Dict Box. It seems so cumbersome to get a word out of it.

Dictionary is good but translation is no working nicely.. Plz fix it for 5 stars..

The audio option is not coming in my Samsung galaxy S5360.Please help me on this soon.

This used to be a fine dictionary that worked well. Lately, though, it makes me re-download the dictionary files every time I use it. I'm switching to another app.

Try it, it has many phrases and words everything offline. I mean common words and phrases and slangs. And it has pronunciation.

The app is good but needs to improve

Sometimes it says that there is not a default dictionary, so I install the dictionaries I use again and I am very tired of this loop. Samsung Galaxy S2.

English-French? No?

Unlike some other reviewers, Dictdroid never crashes on my phone. I use it with eight different languages and like it a lot. I've raised my rating to five stars because of the excellent prompt service I just received when I reported a minor problem to the developer by e-mail.

I downloaded the English to Greek database, on first page it gives 'a bomb' as (I think) 'atomic bomb', but of course in Greek. Also the speaking facility speaks the English, not the Greek. Would be much better the other way around.

This is one of the best, if not THE best, translation apps in the Android market. The last 3 months has seen several updates and it keeps getting better!!! Why not 5 stars..? There are a few mistranslations and I wanna keep them on their toes!! Highly recommended!!!! :-)

It's amazing, especially since it has common phrases. But not linking words, or putting the gender of nouns with the translation, forcing me to search the word in the opposite dictionary for the gender, is a big drawback.

I CANNOT open this app on my phone as it automatically close...
