About AutoKam - track recorder
AutoKam is a simple and user friendly video recorder you can use as a car black box/camera. Supported on Android 3.0 and above. This dashcam app allows any car driver to prove who is the real culprit of an accident, defend against an attempt of extortion of compensation or simply record the behavior of other car drivers on the road. There are vast possibilities but it all comes down to a simple and clear interface with the least configuration options possible for easier and pleasant use.
What the AutoKam has to offer in current version?
STANDARD VERSION
- Video recording camera with possibility to set 4 recording quality modes
- Multimedia player with data collected during the recording (speed, location, date and time)
- Automatic deletion of the oldest recordings in case of a memory crunch
- Dividing the recordings to 5 minute fragments
- Displaying the street information you're at (along with longitude and latitude)
- Current speed
- Dashcam working in background
- Automatic start of recording
- Possibility to block/protect the recordings (chosen videos will not be removed)
PRO VERSION
- No ads
- Positioning your phone / tablet with respect to the street
UPCOMING CHANGES
- Collision detection system
- Emergency braking detection system

NOTICE! If you are using CyanogenMod or other mods and the recording preview is black, it has nothing to do with the AutoKam itself. It's the OS fault which cannot be omitted at this point.

When it works, it's a really good app. Takes decent video and shows good info. Problem is it keeps crashing.

No te abandona y graba apesar de que te entren llamadas pero me gustaria que la marca de agua que muestra la informacion de velocidad fuera permanente en el video cosa de poder reproducirlo sin programa especial y aun asi muestre la informacion

Generalnie program dobry, ale nie do końca przemyślany. Poza tym po ostatniej aktualizacji kompletnie się posypał :( Przy zmianie miejsca zapisu filmów na kartę wysypuje się :( Nie jest to wina karty, bo normalnie użytkując aparat w telefonie (LG G2 mini) działa szybko i bez zarzutów. Karta to Kingston mSDHC 16GB Class 10 UHS-I, soft Android KitKat Program się wywala również w momencie odebrania połączenia. Powinien działać w tle do czasu zakończenia połączenia. Inaczej niestety jest bezużyteczny...

Can't record with sound. Neither video. No background recording (I want to save my battery) I suppose device specific problems.

se si imposta la SD come archivio del filmato non si puo' tornare indietro, cioe' archiviare su memoria cellulare. Per poterlo fare bisogna disinstallare e reinstallare la app

Still no audio selection on/Off for recording. /// looking forward to background mode, use with navigation app. /// selecting location to save, only show blank. Can not define personal selection. /// high/low video mode should least say quality in how many progressive as 320P 480P etc.

On Nexus 7 2013 with andr 4.3 crush when recording and minimize app. I had to uninstall. When will work on 4.3 I'll reconsider.

The latest update has made the program terribly unstable: 1 hour trip almost always leads to recording image becoming blue. Switching to the next file kills not only the application, but Android itself. Only battery removal revives the device.

The latest update has made the program a BS: depressing a "record" button freezes the image, no communication with GPS, no recording, at exit the program crashes, doesn't start recording on GPS movement sensor... Well, exactly I have payed for it. The only question: how to roll back to an older release?
