eXCite Sight Read Music Tutor for Android
Very difficult to read notes not on the staff. Thinking about switching to one that I can see the staff & lines better ie iddle C isn't easy to ready & one we all know
Great for building efficiency in sight reading
This is a useful app and works well on my S6. The background (which currently there's no option to change) makes it a little difficult to see ledger lines. I like the idea of tracking accuracy on a per note basis in the stats, but think that this might perhaps be better presented in the form of a column chart (with the keyboard along the x-axis) - perhaps in addition to the existing stave-driven single-note-at-a-time view. I hope the developers will take this further (there's already much to like).
This is a must have for every serious pianist!
I love how they incorporate both treble and bass clef at the Same time .
Great tool!
The best!
I love it. I took away a star because there are too many pop-up ads.
>...very nice and useful app
The excite sightread tutor is one step further from what other similar apps are in terms of visible productivity as regards improvements in sight reading
Just a few minutes with this and I can already see how it's going to help me learn these notes.

I like the fact that this shows all the notes at the same time, which makes the practice closer to the real thing than others do

I've definitely become good at recognizing the notes quickly, no longer having to rely on counting up or on the familiar mnemonics. My main issue is that the scoring seems mysterious: I'll sometimes get relatively low scores after going 20 for 20 at one note per second. Saying "it's based on speed and accuracy" doesn't explain the scores' variability.
