In India as well in the other developing countries, there are lot of migrant workers who travel from the rural to urban areas in search of employment for the betterment of their life.

The app is targeted for the migrant workers category of India. It will provide them with basic and day to day needed help required to look out for new jobs and carry them through. The app is only for White Collar Workers and not for Blue Collar Workers.

The app has been uploaded on the Google Play Store and will be available by 1st Feb. We have also attached the apk file with the mail

The whole app can be summed up with the three main features as following -

Job add/search -

A worker who's daily meals depends upon day to day earnings has to find new jobs regularly and then there are a major part of the population who are in need of workers for carrying out their household's/company's daily works. We have made the app keeping in mind the situations faced by wage worker while finding the jobs and the people who are looking for workers. The app serves as a common platform to fulfil the need of both type of categories (Workers & Employers).
The Employers can post an new Work Ad regarding the type of work they need to be done from Household Work to Construction or a Wall paint job to Security job. They can give a brief description of the job along with the expected Wages to be paid. The ad is up and running in less than a minute.
These same ads can be viewed by any worker and if interested can apply directly of it. A notification with the workers personal details like Name, Phone No. ,Address and Interests will be sent out to the ad's owner and thus he can respond (Accept/Decline) to his application request directly from within the app. The worker will be notified when he/she gets accepted/declined for a job.
Being Hindi as a native language in India, the app is available in both Hindi and English to target more people in the country.

Optimized search -

There are several kind of jobs a worker can do and we have tried to comprise them in 11 categories as given in the app. The worker can sort the work ads with Date, Wages and can also filter them with Job Type (One Day, Monthly or Custom) , Timings (Once or Twice a day) and with particular wage limit too. The sort and filter gives a refined search result to the worker. The Map feature allows the worker to locate jobs around his desired location.

Management-
For getting any job done, an employer need consist workers who can carry out the given job daily. Thus an attendance record comes handy for maintain logs and wages of workers. The app has the remarkable feature where it uses the NFC technology of smart phones to mark the presence/attendance of a worker on the work thus simplifying the employer’s job by a simple functionality.
