I had some problems, but the developer helped me. Everything works now, thanks.

N70%
by N####:

Still one of the best MIDI players out there! Hands down!

by N####:

I'm enjoying listening to downloaded classical midi's with this, plays them much better than the stock player. I'd like it to play a single file or a folder and then stop, rather than repeat automatically (perhaps I am not using it correctly?). V good player apart from that minor annoyance.

I love it! Nice uncluttered interface. No piano keyboards or goofy-looking user-interface buttons. Only minor bug I had was in converting a MIDI to WAV. The conversion went fine ("Apogee Intro.mid") and the file was saved but without the filename. So the output file was just ".wav" and since it starts with a dot, the phone treated it as a .nomedia file, so it took me a while to find it. I'm using Marshmallow 6.0 with a MicroSD card, formatted as adopted storage. P.S. I just figured it out: I wasn't typing my own output filename. :) It's not obvious at the prompt that you have to do it. Maybe the App could pre-paste the name?

Perfect for MIDI playback and rendering using multiple soundfonts.

Now only plays with native soundfont. Bummer.

Good quality sound compared to other Android MIDI players.

I specifically wished to download a midi player that displays added lyrics as the midi is being played. The info on the app doesn't say your app does this but other information online indicates Timidity does display lyrics. However, after paying for your app & downloading it I discovered it does not display the lyrics. I feel I have wasted money for no reason. I am very disappointed. [After contact with the app developer I have increased the stars. This app has a great sound & I was finally able to get the lyrics to appear. I can't fault the communication, it was timely and helpful]

Inexplicably doesn't play half of what it finds (and I didn't really expect it to detect and read .mus files, but c'mon, it failed to see plenty of .mid files), sometimes the player just stops wanting to play files it used to play. I paid money for this thing.

High fidelity Command and Conquer tunes in my pocket, rendered with any soundfonts I please. Fantastic. Dark theme is a good option. Dear dev, please implement a player control launcher widget.. my only wish from this fine app.

Lots of features. Works exceptionally well. No ads. Without this app, I would not bother with midi on android.

Can you let us use sfz soundfonts?

The playlist is a killer feature; I've known for a long time that Google's implementation is bugged (songs like to "stick together" when moving them, but the display doesn't render this), so seeing a developer put time into making an implementation that works proper is refreshing and praiseworthy. The UI isn't great (it shows filenames, not metadata; added songs are invisibly queued until you press add, and cancel is arguably too close; removing and reordering tends to seek back to the top of the list view; etc.) but the fact that it allows one to construct an ordered playlist, can source music from any readable location in the filesystem, allows one to quickly append tracks from a single directory in a specific order, and has an easy to use text-file playlist format more than makes up for those deficiencies. After having a falling out with Shuttle for just these reasons, this is now my preferred general audio player--let alone MIDI support.

Fully featured "MIDI-ah" player, supports sfArk installation, you can take the Doom soundtrack on your runs around the park at night and MIDI files are in abundance so it's all worth the dollar this will cost yah.

The best midi app on my phone. Love it and it plays audio from videos as well. Makes it better than Google Music. 11/10

I'd look for this MIDI player that supports my soundfonts ! Nice app ever for enjoying my MIDI notes!

And I'm really diggin the playlist feature! Thanks again!

I have to give 5 stars because the developer have taking feedback from user. Managing playlist is no more a painful thing, with some plus: this player also plays tracker files, mp3, ogg, and video files (as audio), changing soundfont is a charm, and folder is treated as a playlist. Timidity cfg works great too.

S70%
by S####:

Managing playback order in a playlist is totally painful, also add multiple songs, please fix this. On the upside, this player also plays tracker files, mp3, ogg, and video files (as audio), changing soundfont is a charm, and folder is treated as a playlist. Timidity cfg works great too.

I liked this because it can play black midi's (1,000,000+ notes) but when it reaches 256th voice, the playback pauses... I want you to make it to 512 voice limit... Or if it is allowed, just mute the extra voices added beyond the 256 voice limit to make it play smoothly and better

S70%

If your soundfont isn't working, delete and reinstall, works every time for me. Thanks for the assistance. This still remains the best midi player on my phone.

Please add Bluetooth control support.

N70%

Well the midis that were played isnt completely 100% the same like it was suppose to sound like however, the sound is better than its played in other players. Didnt regret paying ;p.

I like that I can change key and tempo, but how do I save the settings (Key,Tempo) on each song so I don't have to re set it every time. I have a song/file that I practice along with. The original BPM is 120. I slow it down to 100bpm but next time I play it, it is back to 120. How do I save it play at 100bpm every time I play it? Thanks

N70%
by N####:

With the newest update, after I convert to a wav file, playback just stops and I have to close the app every time to be able to play midis again. It's not the worst thing ever, but it sure is annoying.

At first glance this seems to be working well for me: it plays series of Bach midi files, of which I have many from the awesome Kunstderfuge repository. I love MIDI! It sounds better than the default midi player on my Galaxy Nexus. And it doesn't use so many resources that I can't run other apps while it runs in the background (with a little occasional skipping, but hey). The first initial download failed with a scary error and a crash. I relaunched and the initial download was resumed and apparently completed successfully, so no worries. I was going to give only 4 stars since there's so many extra features I could wish for, but hey! This is already very good. Very pleased.

I've dabbled with timidity and fluidsynth on the arm platform before, but I can't find options to control reverb/chorus/delay settings on this app, otherwise a good effort.

It works now! I don't have to worry about my RAM overloading anymore and be forced to use a separate browser!

Ur app has an issue clearing out ram on every song it loads like u load a song then instruments load then a new song. Previous instruments stay then new instruments gets loaded
