SXSW® GO - Official 2018 Guide for Android
Clunky with forced updates at every use. Buggy & doesnt allow simple tracking of artists.
Love music and cause yall have us to sign up for free guess pass and when you broke no job its wonderful i had a blast first time at sxsw in 38 years born and raised Austin, TX i will do it again.... Thank yall
For a festival so focused on tech, what an out of date and out of touch app. Forced updates every time you start the app? Ads that pop up at every startup?
Many features don't work. Location, RSVPs, etc all broken. Can't even get into some sessions without RSVP and it's impossible to RSVP.
Give me a menu. I can find what I want.
We are a tough crowd to please, but a bit of testing in real world conditions would have gone a long way... What's the daily schedule update all about and why make me wait for it? On a busy WiFi or cellular link it makes the app unusable about half the time I want to check it. This isn't the only app I have which syncs to a database but it is the only one that makes me wait while it does so!
Edit: I was able to log in after uninstalling and reinstalling and logging in right from the start screen. Yay. Can't log in! App is useless without being able to log in. Need a fix stat for SXSW starting today.
App is sluggish and seems to need a new database every time I open it. Has a lot of potential but falls short of being enjoyable to use. Still prefer the paper booklets
For a large festival, I'm surprised they used a white label. Slow performance with a bad user experience. Also, app is unstable and crashes frequently.
Great conference app, but it's annoying to be asked to update the event database every time I open the app. It would be nice if I could tell it to update in the background when on wifi.
Stop forcing the database downloads. When opening the app, if it thinks I need to update my database, I'm unable to do anything with the app, unless I first download the latest schedules. Sometimes that's not necessary. Otherwise, I probably have the same gripes as before.
The app's login feature is not working. So can't access my personalized schedule or passes. The help feature or Abby the Bot is useless.
Why do I NEED to download a new database and schedule every time I open it? It really gets in the way. I can deal with the old schedule!
Small critique: I like to scan the schedule by venue by night but there's no easy way to do that in this app. If an artist has only one show, the venue will show up as a clickable option, but if they have multiple shows, it does not
Can not login. Everytime I select the login button the app crashes. Links within the application for various events are returning unable to access due to Err_Name_Not. Resolved.
This app sucks. Wants to download a new schedule every time I open the app. I uninstalled and reinstalled and now I have no favorites. P. O. S.
So far, I think the app is amazing, informative, helpful and haven't had any problems with it!
Heavyweight regular data downloads and inability to sort sessions by venue.
Good app. Like that it has a map, and the shuttle schedule.
Ads way. too intrusive!
Constantly downloading the database. Can't even open it.
great application, does what it needs to do pretty well
Works, yeah!
Awesome!
Awesome
App does do anything. Doesnt let you log in. Keeps coming back to home page, which freezes
Can't login. Just spins and goes back to login. For a tech conference, this is has always been a pretty buggy app.
This app gets a little better each year but as of 2017 it's still glitchy.
I cannot login. That renders this app pretty useless for me
Just like a few others are saying, I can't even attempt to login
actually a great way of keeping track of events, i enjoy using it
I didn't have any issues. Great app ????
Limited connectivity
Pretty easy to navigate
Love it
Best app for all the most up-to-date SXSW scheduling information.
Cannot login anymore. Come on SX!
Love it
The ad is blocking half the screen! Also too many push notifications.

Unfavoriting one of my favorites crashes the app 100% on Galaxy S4. Database sorting and querying is very limited and not at all user friendly. I echo another comment - real-world testing would've addressed these issues.
