gosh! easyFeed for Android
- Device constantly sends notification about going offline. - App is really buggy (e.g. adding a photo for your pet will crash the app) - User Interface is sub par. - Device can't keep track of time properly (e.g. daylight savings) If they cared about what they do a good place to start would be to start addressing the poor feedback reviews on the app store.
You may or may not be able to pair it - some devices won't pair. Once it's on your WiFi network any device can access it. The scale issue everyone's having is easily fixed by calibrating it with 2 500g weights. Unfortunately, there is a serious design flaw with the unit itself. The rotating dispensing arms are flexible and the chute is short, so the cat can get her paw up there, flick the dispensing arms, and get food whenever she wants. Per manufacturer suggestion this can be fixed by supergluing stiff plastic sheets to the dispenser opening so they can't get their paw in, but that requires partial disassembly that can be tricky because the internal wire bundles are short, so you have to be careful not to break them. The solution has prevented the cat from stealing food, however. The app ha finally improved which brought it from 1 to 2 stars. The main problem now is that there seems to be no way to set the clock, so the feeding scheduled for 8:30 pm actually happens at 3:30pm with no way to change it. And occasionally when the app updates it changes the unit's time, and that inconsistency means you can't just adjust the feeding time to compensate for the wrong clock. It would also be nice if the changelog would actually say what gets changed rather than "optimize / bug fix."
Wish I could put 0 stars. App is awful. The wifi pairing on the device constantly goes offline, misses feeding times, the scale doesn't work, the feeding tracker doesn't work, the re-ordering food functionality isn't functional, list goes on. Basically all it does is dispense food on a timer, sometimes. Unbelievable waste of money.
App still dosnt work
The app installed fine on my samsung. 2 things i'm hoping will get fixed: the weight of the food tray shows at 0 on the app even when there is food in it. None of the notifications go through. I think it might be because the app logs off when not in use. Otherwise, this gadget is already proving super useful, i can see, hear and talk to my cats while away, and i know they won't run out of food and water. It'll be a fantastic product when the app is finalized.
Does not work on Android 7.0. No response to email requests for support. Product buyers are hi Tech early adopters, so this app is a big screw up.
Nexus 6P up to date. App sits on orange screen. Unusable. IOS app at least opens, but it has its own set of issues.
After paring wifi and showing ssid when selecting app crashes setup cant be completed. Feeder is useless without.
Still waiting for it to get fixed. It has been over a week and all I hear is that the engineers are working on it. Very disappointed and super frustrated. At this point I don't recommend any product from "gosh"
App launches to orange screen and stays there. On LG G4
App crashes after it successfully pairs with my WiFi. Can not continue to final Successful Setup step.
Funded this through kickstarter. Does not work. Won't pair with device. App keeps crashing. $200 peice of plastic.
Can't even log in. Goes to orange screen on Android.
The internal clock is messed up, any suggestions?

Never was able to get past the first screen. It always says Login Unsuccessful. I've tried logging in with my own account and Facebook. Completely useless.
