Groovy Notes - Personal Diary

I use this app to store all my work notes, recipes, and personal files. I store my pictures notes, short important voice notes and it works beautifully on my Note 4.

This app is not groovy, it is lame. No images in the actual note, only as useless attachment. There is no true sync, so notes will be lost if you use many devices often. Dropbox sync doesn't work on iPad. The developer does not respond to complaints. I wish I never purchased this app.

Loved it until no access to my life saved on it. I used it for 2 years for everything Who do I contact for support? Definitely 5 stars if works.

All note have NO TIME creation. Only DATE. I need date and time appear after every note creation.

Really like this app, great way to consolidate notes and have them sorted into categories. Share functionality is also great, easy to email notes. Easy to take pictures and add to the note. It would be great if this app also had the ability to write notes by hand instead of type. Some more formatting options would also be helpful.

Message to the developers: Will you continue Dropbox backup support beyond Sep 28th? Dropbox informed me that you need to implement changes for this to continue. Thanks.

I have used Groovy Notes on my Android Devices for many years. Backing up to and restoring from Dropbox makes it very easy to stay synced between my laptop and my phone and tablet. However, for YEARS, I have waited for some updates. As another reviewer mentioned, we have been begging to have the images and attachments inside the actual note. I HATE having to go look at attachments to see my pics. Another thing we have asked for is being able to set a default font. When you restore from one operating system to another, the font is changed to the ugly font that Groovy Notes creator selected. Really bugs me! We've also been asking for different templates, page styles, etc., and colored fonts, and different icons, etc... Don't think we're ever gonna get 'em!

Another one of those stinking apps whose arrogant developers try to force you with nag screens that just won't go away to "upgrade, upgrade, upgrade". Upgrades SUCK - they mess stuff up that used to work and are always a main source for data loss. If it ain't broke, don't fix it PERIOD I am the master of my machine and I decide what gets installed and when and *any* piece of software that tries to annoy me into "install the new version, install it, install it NOW!" gets uninstalled ASAP!

Everything Elliott Pew said on 8/25/2016 is exactly what I am thinking. I love the Aesthetics and organization of this app. I have been using it for 2 years now and it suits my needs perfectly except for the limited ability to edit text. The single most frustrating thing is the inability of the page to scroll up so you can see what you are typing as you type it. If the developers could fix just this one issue this app would be 7 Stars in my world.

This is a great app, but as others noted, the page doesn't scroll down past the keyboard. For me this is the one problem that bothers me most.

Apart from its jazzy, pseudo-elegant interface it doesn't offer much. No text enhancement, no graphic insertion, . . .

There's a few apps that I don't update- I see that features are removed that I liked, added that I wouldn't like, or a significant number of people have problems. I saw that updating this wouldn't benefit me, and continued to use the app as it was. Now I get a pop-up preventing me from using the app, nagging me to get the new, yet still flawed, version. I already paid for the version I prefer to use, and now it's essentially been stolen from me. Ditch the pop-up. Updates are a choice, not a requirement!

Also able to add voice notes. I do a lot of journaling and note taking with it. I also sync before closing it so I have it on all my devices. (old devices samsung note 10.1 and samsung note 2) Most important, it is password protected. You can export or share your notes.

Been using this on and off. I like how it looks. Very aesthetically pleasing. My major issue is formating is very limited. I wish you could highlight text and bold italicize or underline. Bullet points, check boxes would be nice. The biggest downer is that when youre typing and the text reached your keyboard it just types behind your keyboard. The screen doesn't scroll. You can't drag to scroll while typing either which makes it almost in usable. You can't see what youre typing about half way through.

Can't share a note to Dropbox, and can't put pics on the note, only as an attachment. Other than that, the category customization is awesome and I can see myself using this quite a bit. Hopefully the Dropbox thing will be fixed and placing pics on pages will be added to a future update.

I love this app but wish there was a way to sync between different devices with this app installed on all of them. Same info on all devices. Dev, is this a possibility?

It's missing the ability to remember where I was up to in lengthy files. If it was able to do this then it's nothing short of perfect.

HORRIBLE. waste of my money. I emailed the company, & they did not understand. Opening the app will open the first note every time- I hated that. No time stamp, checklist was not a checklist. No settings.

This app has been totally re-written, and you can tell. It is slick and really does the job. Good developer response to problems as well.

One day this app will be HUGE and I can't wait! This app has come so far and I can't wait to see what is going to be happening for this app in the future. Instead of about five different apps I can just use this one for all my needs I COMPLETELY LOVE IT. So just buy it and enjoy it's awesomeness.

This is the application that has everything I want. I find it as an all in one diary. It looks beautiful, the functions are widely diverse, the entries are easily transferable to other similar applications, etc. However, I have encounted one problem last night and still persist until now - the attachment pictures I inserted last night are not shown - they are just seen as white blank squares. If this problem is rectified, I have no doubt, this application deserves a 5-star review.

Yes, it's good that you can backup all noted via Dropbox. But how do you import notes from other apps? I want to transfer all my notes from previous app to this. T_T

Every time I open the app I have to wait because it's always "loading" opening the first note which I don't want or need. Also I would love a button for a time stamp just like the one in GNotes. Also the ToDo section would be nice if it had a checklist feature. Please help me out. Add settings considering people have to pay for this app.
