LocationXYZ

LocationXYZ provides functions to record the locations at your chosen points, using GPS or other available location providers on your device. The recorded locations are grouped in the location trace, which can be saved in the archive database and reloaded into the application later. The application calculates the distance between adjacent points, the distance to the starting point, and the total length that has been traveled from the starting point. The recorded locations and the traveling path are also shown in the Google map view.

LocationXYZ provides a convenient and cost-effective way to track and measure the geological locations at your interested points. The location requesting is started only at your interested points, so the battery power on your device can be greatly preserved.

The application help screen provides the detailed descriptions about the screen menus and their actions, the location data display and the definitions, the map view and the tracing path, and the archived location traces. The application can be easily configured to meet user's specific needs. The maximum location requesting count and the desired accuracy can be set according to your needs. The metric unit can be either the international system (meter/kilometer) or United States customary unit (foot/mile). The map view format can be selected from Map, Satellite, Traffic, or Street View. The database administration functions can be used to restore the default configurations or clean up the archive database. The help screen should be able to guide you to the effective use of this application.
