About Emergency Alert
Emergency Alert can be used to immediately alert someone when you are in danger or need help via a few rapid presses of the power/sleep button on your device.
You are able to send a text message (including a web link that displays your location) to one or more people, sound an alarm, and (optionally) have the application dial a phone number.
If you have an emergency and...
o Don’t have time or ability to dial someone for help
o Need to conceal the fact that you trying to alert someone you need help

SAFETY NOTICE:
This application should NOT be used in place of common sense solutions like finding someone in the area to help, dialing 911, or protecting yourself by any means necessary.
DEVICE REQUIREMENT:
In order to be able to send text message alerts and make phone calls you must have a device that has cellular service and a text messaging plan.
DEVICE SUPPORT:
This application has been tested on a number of devices running Android OS 2.2-4.0. If you are having problems with your device, email support with your device name, OS version, and a description of the problem you are having. Our email is support.xankle.20m.com.

No instructions, took me near an hour to figure out how to actually send an alert, and then it didn't. Waste of time.

I would have loved, except that it sent alerts to my phone five or six times when there was nothing wrong. It was also nearly impossible to stop the annoying blaring noise. VERY unhappy

I've had the police show up at my house multiple times because this app sent out messages to everyone on my list even though I did not intentionally activate the alert. I uninstalled it after that. Having the police come is very embarrassing and a waste of their time!!!

My boyfriend has gotten an emergency text (that I did NOT activate) from this app not once but twice. That's definitely not good. It's a great concept, but it has far too many bugs. Uninstalled.

Love the idea of this app, but Huge drain on my battery. My fully charged phone ran out of power in less than 1 hour. Had to disable. I would give it a higher rating if thIs was fixed.
