This app is a great start. I have used it for accessing my Wyzant messages, updating or checking calendar, for submitting lessons and for answering potential students. One big drawback to using the app is it is not very reliable. I don't dare submit applications to jobs using it because it frequently crashed rather than deliver my job application. Then I have to start over. It also doesn't let you use your saved job application templates.

Can't read full messages from requests, and can't respond to requests, causing you to respond late. Also can't contact WyzAnt through the app. Categories are not well organized. The design is generally poor.

This service deducts 40 percent from the tutors and charges 7 percent to the students. In effect they double the price of tutoring. The service does not double the value of good tutors. Do yourself the service of finding good tutors outside of this incredibly inefficient market.

Everything I could generally want as a tutor in terms of scheduling tools and other useful info, including job leads. Please add functionality to change rate on the fly via the app.

I love that this app allows me to respond to students quickly when I am on the go because I am often tutoring or traveling between locations. But, this past summer I have had problems with bugs involving sending and replying to messages. My initial response does not always send, and requests are not porting over properly into the message section. If Wyzant fixes these bugs I could easily give 4-5 stars.

It's a GREAT way to get in contact with a wide variety of students! Sometimes, I would have issues if a student tried to send me the picture of an assignment, but it could be opened if I accessed Wyzant on the computer. I also really like that students could also seek you out!

Push notifications are now spot-on, but now there's a new bug whereby a student's initial request for tutoring, when replied to, does not properly port over to the normal message area. When I try to open the message three with that student, the app insists that it cannot find the student's "request" and does not display anything. Outside of random bugs like this, the app is still a great way for tutors to access Wyzant on the go!

Wyzant need to do a better job of calculating tutor's response rate. App crashes a lot. Cannot create indivdual schedules. When out of town cant search for jobs in my own tutoring region. Guess I have to wait until I return. Retarded. These and many other QA initiatives seem to have escaped their testing. Update 9/1/2017; App will not load some messages from new students. Get error.

Missing some features that the browser version has. Fails to load half of my messages, forcing me to pull up the site in my browser.

While this provides a convenient format to correspond with students on the go, it is extremely buggy in terms of sending and receiving messages (several times I have had to recompose a message bc sending failed) and is also limited in scope -- many simple features like editing your profile are unavailable.

Would be better if integrated video function. ADDED: Sometimes students might just want a quick 15 minute meeting to cover some fast items--not an hour long meeting. Of course, we can always go off Wyzant to Skype for that kind of thing, but I'm guessing you want people in your ecosystem.

This app is a great way to keep in touch with students and build my tutoring business! Keep up the great work, WyzAnt! This just in: WyzAnt continues to make the app slicker and more functional. Bravo! The only thing I think is weird is, when I submit my lessons, the amount I'm owed and other details don't update right away on the app, but they do on the website, even the mobile website. Any way to update in real time? Keep packing as much functionality as you can into the app while maintaining the streamlined design. You have my thanks! Your number one super fan!

Enjoying the simplicity of using this app. However, It has become an apparent issue that the response time is affected by the final message sent in communication as opposed to the initial contact. This means if a client has the final message in communicating (i.e. "You as well and again thanks") it affects the response time. I've gone from ~2 hrs to > ~13 hrs. There is also an issue with the time zones of online communication as well. I'm enjoying the upgrades for improvements. An option for clients to tip in app would be nice as well. But overall I'm satisfied with the app.

I love the Wyzant App. It alerts me when students message me while I'm on the go, so it makes it easier for me to communicate in a prompt matter. I can also apply for jobs from the app as well, which is exceptionally helpful! I have two suggestions. 1. There should be a way to access the FAQs page from the mobile app. I've found myself with random questions and the only way to get to the FAQs is on the desktop. 2. No use of created templates and also there is no ability to "copy" old job applications to paste that formatting in a new one. These things will help make even better improvements to the app! Thanks for everything Wyzant :)

The app does not display public view, title, and free response. You cannot use templates to respond. Overall, the experience is not intuitive. ... I wished there were better reporting and metrics tools to track number of hours worked, subjects, locales, mileage, and earnings (like the Toggle app).

Very poorly designed app and system. Unnecessarily complicated enrollment procedures and counter-intuitive process. Don't waste your time with this...

There are some things that I appreciate about this app. I like that I can export my tutoring appointments to my personal calendar. However, there are some bugs. My session summaries are often cut off. Some of my students have mentioned difficulties scheduling appointments and communicating with me.

This app is great for managing tutoring appointments, contacting tutees, and searching for new jobs when I'm not at my computer. The only downside is that you cannot do as much on the app as you can on the computer (view details for potential jobs, view/manage payments from completed jobs, etc.). Overall I greatly enjoy using the app and understand that we shouldn't expect to do everything we can on the computer as we can on other devices.

Simple things like applying to a new tutoring job using a saved template cannot be accomplished. I'll have to keep using the browser if I want to use the templates I invested time in writing.
