I should have done more research before buying these lights. As so many people have said, the bulbs are great but the app isn't. You can make them come on and off and choose between maybe a hundred colors (not millions), and the scenes do stuff but aren't great to me (or anyone who's review I saw). I did eventually get the timer to work. And I could turn off the permissions I didn't need it to have with no trouble.

The app works great on my Galaxy A8. Doesn't crash opens relatively fast and doesn't take too long to connect to 1 light. The Mic control is way too quick and doesn't seem to be very reactive to music. More so just does the same pattern and changes tempo slightly. A widget would be great for switching off lights or changing preset colours. The scene modes are okay but I feel like they could be better and less intense.

Very basic. Can't save colors. Forgets previous setting, always defaults to full white. Changing color puts brightness up to full. No daily timer, with no brightness or color settings. You can only set a single timer, which turns on at the same time every day and only white at full brightness.

No problem with pairing bulb. Worked ok for a week then it wouldn't let me select lamp to control. I uninstalled app and reinstalled. It worked for about another week. Now same problem and no matter what I do it won't let me select lamp. Please fix so app works correctly.

Update: it won't connect to the bulbs anymore. It's extremely basic. Does what it's supposed to but a widget would make it much better since it's really made to be turned on and off through the app. Having to wait for the app to load and all that is extremely annoying.

I've been using this app for my lights for about 4-5 months. Then one day I was unable to connect and haven't been able to since. I sent an email regarding this with no reply yet. Very unsatisfied.

App needs refinement...bulb is working fine....a lot of things r needed to be improvised for a 5 star

Latest android update (6.0.1) broke app. Can no longer connect and control lights. Tried reinstalling. Lights are now stuck on yellow, and I don't expect to be able to change that anytime soon. And it wasn't a very good app to begin with. Avoid these lights/apps.

DO NOT BUY THIS LAMP! Crappy app. Bluetooth won't work. Did the first time. How many negative reviews do you need to fix it.

My biggest gripe is the scheduling. Yes it works but I'd like to set two schedules per bulb which at the moment is impossible.

Limited functionality. Would like to see custom scenes and music streaming form apps like sportify

Work great with the music but when I want to change the light it saying connect to Bluetooth when am already connect to it .why am not able to change colour

Needs development: -add weekday timer -add widgets -custom and programmable scene modes -publish source code

You cant play the track you want to.

Works fine with Oneplus 3.

The bulb is fine. But the App is useless. When the App is not working there is no use of the bulb also.

Replacement of the bulb is in record time. There is problem with the app in pairing.No paired devices shown

For some reason, my download didn't start for 5 minutes. Internet connection was fine. But it did finally download. App is a tad buggy and crashes, but is workable. Definitely not a 5 star situation but it does work. I use it outdoors near a lakeshore/firepit so it's cool to change the color at night when sitting out there. I'm satisfied.

It doesn't sync up to music just flashes between colors at top speed. Scenes doesn't work. I've had other color changing lights and this was the worst. Update the app make it actually work and it would be awesome. But I feel scammed as of right now pretty pissed

The scene setting crashes the app. The music only oscillating at a set speed. Awfully expensive light bulb that you can only set steady colors.

I have a Note 3 and the ap is working sometimes as it should, sometimes it loses connection to the bulbs. Then I have to scan for the bulbs and then restart the ap... and then sometimes it still doesn't connect. Uninstall, reinstall. The bulbs are fine, the ap sucks. Wish the ap could control more than 6 bulbs. I'm sorry now that I bought these bulbs without reading the control ap reviews first!

Light works fine. But i also chose this to play music and thats where it fails. S7 edge and it will not play anything through the bulb speakers. Tried on 2 different s7 edges.

Is there an alternative app? This app is a real disappointment. Always crashes when I do rainbow and frequently quits working.

Very unstable. Connectivity is highly poor. Alarm light is always full power up without a slow increasing.

Only works some of the time, I have to constantly reinstall the app, great fun when it does work, please fix!

The app is not very good. I have had to uninstall and reinstall. Then I realized...It needs access to your messages, where's my droid, microphone, etc in order to operate a light bulb? I think this is malware masquerading as a legitimate product.

I have a Note 3 and the ap is working mostly as it should, sometimes it loses connection to the bulbs. I wish the ap could control more than 6 bulbs, as I have 7 of these bulbs so far in my house and would like to contol up to at least 12. Fun creating ambience with light! I won't buy more bulbs until the ap allows me to control them all.

10-02-2015 App was updated again today,, it now works as advertised at least on a Samsung Note 3. Very happy they finally sorted out the issues with the app. Rating adjusted, but still reflects waiting a month for it to work as advertised. 9-26-2015 I received a notification that it had been updated, so I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, still crashes on launch. And WHY does a bluetooth LED lightbulb app need access to my SMS, Microphone and other items. Is this app just malware masquerading as a lightbulb app? 9-10-2015 Crashes on Launch

Same problem as others mentioned...crashes on launch. I have an updated HTC One M8 and no other issues with any other apps but this one simply fails on every attempt to open it, can't play with my color changing LED light bulb without it so an update/fix would be greatly appreciated!

Awsome when ever i need light boom it is there no other app uses other colors.

Force closes as soon as I open the app on my phone. I will revise this as soon as support gets back to me with any sort of fix. Using a Droid Turbo with Android v5.1

Worked great for two days then ceased working after an android update on my phone. Tried reinstall but to no avail.

this app messes everything up on your phone from pictures to contacts to the background of your phone, dont install. Waste of money.
