The background can be white or default parchment, and the text color and size is fully customizeable. One can choose both the primary and secondary language. The only issue I have is that the app looks kind of like a free website. What I mean is that it's not especially beautiful and doesn't fit the screen well, as some of the better apps. But all in all a great app!

Inappropriate ads

App generally works well and I like it a lot. The way the ads work make it near impossible to use. While trying to pray the banner at the bottom keeps moving which is distracting, but bearable. After the third pop up ad while trying to pray Laudes I got frustrated and just quit. Makes it impossible to keep a prayerful spirit and it loses the place where you were praying. I have enough trouble with distractions without being bombarded by them in my "aide to prayer." Ads are fine, just have them work better.

This thing really annoys the user with ads. Original website has none. I would suggest no ads with limited capacity until payment is made or just one ad at the beginning.

....with inappropriate adds and popups; may as well be malware....

I'd rather pay a couple dollars than have a series of pop ups. Incredibly annoyong.

This app is basically just the Divinum Officium website plus additional full-screen ads. Just bookmark the website and give this app a pass.

I've checked consistently for a traditional breviary app and only now have I found one. It's not perfect, but the app is simple to navigate if you know what you're looking for. But you kinda need to know what you're looking for. I'm hopeful that, with some improvements (like the removal of some game of war ads which do not inspire a prayerful spirit but something quite sinful), that this app can help poor traditional folks who can't afford a traditional breviary.
