Block Apps - More Productivity & Focus

Works very well for a student. I don't have to worry about distractions from social media. Would be nice if I could shut off the block when I didn't need it.

Loved this app.. Thank u.... Only thing that can make it best is adding an emergency way to use the blocked app that too for ten minutes.. Hopefully looking to new updates

After Flipd (another app to lock your phone) ruined their app with an update that removed most of their good features, I had to spend a few hours testing out alternatives, and Block Apps was the best alternative I could find: Why 5 stars:: ---- You can 'hard lock' meaning that there will be no easy way to remove the lock after you set it. Most other applications rely on your self-discipline to not disable it manually through certain "tricks", which makes it pointless to me. ----- A widget where you can quickly block a premade list of applications for up to 12 hours. ----- You can schedule blocks. Many other applications have the option of "reminding you" to block your phone without actually blocking it, which, again makes it kind of pointless. This is favorite app now, it really helps me stay away from my phone(in which I block email, mindlessly scrolling down Facebook, or online newspapers) in the morning, when I study, and also at night ~1 hour before I go to bed. Thank you for creating this.

The only way you get past the block is to uninstall the app. Even if you change permissions, the current block stays active. Definitely worth the upgrade. I just wish I could block specific websites and not the entire internet. Edit: Don't like the new format.

I usually don't rate apps but I think this one is great because it's simple and I don't get any ads.

Bullcrap app with blocking limits dont waste time

in new update in redmi 3S prime, this app works beautifully but problem is, it get deactivated when I clear ram,manually by removing running block app.it is not a strict apps.

When ever I select the blocked app. A motivational quotes with a msg of ur app is blocked, this is really a great app for focusing on ur goal.

Keeps closing apps I'm using even if they aren't on the list!! Please fix this

I've been looking for an app just like this. Like most people today I have too intimate of a relationship with my phone. This app has helped me put the phone down at crucial points during my day, especially first thing in the morning. Its simply designed and works the way it should. The premium version is worth the couple bucks as well. Good stuff.

Works perfectly! I haven't tried to push it to its limits, but it has allowed me to create blocks on apps that steal my life and motivation. Thank you. Never removing this. As a suggestion for an extension, I've had to block chrome as a whole in order to make sure I cannot access social media, it would be a great addition to this app to be able to block websites within browsers. Not sure if this is functionally possible, but if possible it would be amazing

Over all, this app does a GREAT job at what its supposed to do. However, a small detail I would like if you could activate and deactivate blocks when there not on. This is because I have diffrent schedules that mix so i need to delete and make alarms for that schedule. Then you could make it to only have 3 times activated. Thank you

Why don't you advertise the limitations of the free version? It is a waste of time to have download this first before finding out you can only block 6 apps at a time. Customer service is all about managing expectations!

Whenever the blocks are active, it always closes any app that I'm in and pops up the notification saying that a different app is blocked. The apps that I'm in aren't on any of the blocks so don't know why it does this. Works in the terms of stopping you going on apps but I'm uninstalling.

The block works really well and I love it! It's just the resetting it and you'll have to reactivate everything. This makes us procrastinate and forget to have it back up. Just fix that and all's good. There's also a problem with this not getting all the apps I want to be blocked. Like.. I want to block Skype but there's no option to block it and I've already paid to max out all the apps I want to block. So kindly fix and add all the apps we have installed available for blockage old and all good.. unless this is just me o.O ...??

Controls my terrible "bored now, lets scroll social media" reflex. Helped me focus, reduced my stress, and saved me hours upon first day of use. Only complaint is slight, sometimes seconds long, delay between opening an app and the blocker kicking in. Juuust long enough to see if I have new messages, then fret over not getting to open them. EDIT: The delay is actually pretty useful, because it allows just enough time to authenticate wifi via browser, which I need to operate non-blocked apps.

The only problem I have is that while I am using other apps NOT on my block list, often it will close out the app I am using & display a message saying that an app I am not currently using that IS on my block list is being blocked. I like to use other apps to help me study which is why those apps are not on my block list so it is annoying to have those apps force closed with a pop up appear. I'm not sure why this happens, but it is really annoying. Other than that, I love the app!

Awesome!! This app really push me to stop procrastinating. Though at first it stopped working when i accidentally stopped background apps, but after i set it as a system app, it has worked fine until now. It'd be much better if i don't have to set it as a system app.

I'd gladly see more ads to have more than 6 apps per block in the free version. Otherwise, I'm sorry to say that it's not helpful at all, unlike other apps.

This app does what it says: it blocks apps. The problem is that it constantly blocks ALL apps, including my phone's flashlight, showing a notice that says, "Facebook is currently blocked," even though I wasn't trying to use Facebook. It gets to be extremely annoying. If they would fix that issue, I'd give this app 5 stars. Unfortunately constantly having to shut the notice and try to start whatever non-blocked app I was trying to use is a frustrating time waster.

Love this app. It's so easy to mindlessly open facebookor whatever other app and end up wasting so much time on it. This app allows you put blocks on any app for any amount of time! And, it doesnt make it easy to just unblock it which has been helpful for me. So so so helpful in my life.

This is really helping me get back into living my real life. Cleaning, painting, writing, coffee with friends, sleeping better at night -all because I am no longer inappropriately distracted. It is NOT comfortable at first, which just underscores how needed it was.

A great app. Has helped me to stay in control without getting distracted by social networking and other time wasting apps. Some suggestions: 1. We should be able to create block lists, 2. There be an allowance of a break 3. After rebooting the phone in case of an urgent whatsapp message, we should be able to program the app to block again after a given number of minutes. Just loved this app.. it's been very helpful to me.. I used to spend lots of time mindlessly on insta and fb.. now it got reduced.. I became a big fan of ur app.. I am going to purchase pro version☺️

This app is what I wanted to find, I love it. Blocks apps perfectly, even if you turn it off. I must say that creators have done greaf job. I found only one problem witg it, if you want to block Messenger chat heads still can pop up and distract you and you can type messages in them, I don't if it is possible, but disabling these chat heads would be great, but still this app is the best app of this kind on Play Store.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong since it seems to work for everyone else, but for me it just doesn't block the apps. It says that the block is active but I can use the apps just fine. I have given permission to access usage data and I'm not sure what else to do.

Keep having to activate it to block apps. Notifications keeps popping up about other apps being blocked and closing current app. Very frustrating. It just happened while I was typing this line and kicked me out of this comment.

Great app! Only problem is that my phone stops apps automatically when not in used for hours. Is the payment for upgrade a monthly thing or one time though?

Simple, easy & it really works.. This is the first day for me to use it butit helped me alot.. Definitely I'll come back later for certain feedback but for now I do love it
