Wunderlist: To-Do List & Tasks for Android
I love the app! Loved it right from the get go. I'm a list maker and think in terms of to-dos and scattered tasks. Wunderlist helps me pull all those together and keep track of my thoughts in various categories. It helps me set milestones within a particular task which helps shorten the entire list, making it more manageable. I can also share it with my colleagues and collaborators, so truly, I have nothing more to ask of it. Perfect app for me!
The app is kind of good but unfortunately it fails miserably when we talk about synchronization. I created some things with reminders and 30 minutes after it didn't triggered in my phone. I opened the app and it started to sync. Sorry but in this way it is just better than a piece of paper. P.S. now that it synced it triggered 6 minutes later.
Like the interface which comes with many powerful features without sacrificing ease of use, so basically great. However there are a lot of great to do list apps and you can not afford to have even one let down feature. For Wunderlist the one thing that lets it down for us is the lack of flexibility of the widgets. Seriously why does it need to take up the whole width of the phone screen? Let us make it smaller and change transparency and colours and font size. I need my tasks on my main work screen but I only have space for a 2x2 or even 2x1 widget.
Wunderlist is AMAZING! I've never been good at keeping lists. I always lose paper lists and I forget to look at ones on my phone. Now I use this in combination with paper lists because 1) I'm a writer and love to handwrite things and 2) I don't always have my phone with me but I can have paper and pens all over the house. But you could totally use this without paper. Anyway, I finally have a system thanks to your great app!
Up-rating my review to 4 stars (from 1). My lists disappeared just before renewal of Pro, but after an email to support the next log got them back. Either it's excellent support or the error was self-correcting. Either way I'm happier than a few days ago. If it stays good for a few days more I'll happily up-rate to 5.
I love this app. We used to have a list option through one of our other apps to share. I was very upset when it vanished. However, that forced me over here. I was instantly impressed with the list formats and layouts. We are able to use sublists and chat about even specific individual items on the lists if needed. I am very happy with the app. I fell in love with the sublists... Nothing like being able to preplan the smaller items that go into our "Construction Plans" list!
Calender: this is the only feature lacking. If wunderlist comes up with a Calender view within its own app then it would be just perfect. Its not very comfortable to add task in wunderlist and then open other calendars when you need to have a calendar view of your schedule. Its a.very nice and user friendly app, if the calendar issue is resolved then it would be perfect.
The clean and straightforward interface, the instant sync and the availability on all major platforms convinced me to recommend Wunderlist as often as possible. Although I am very picky with the apps that get to stay on my phone, Wunderlist instantly became one of my default apps. This is the top choice when it comes to staying organised. Congrats to the developers and thank you for your perfectionism and attention to details.
Excellent system. I'm a picky person but this has done everything I asked for. I especially like the fact that I can input tasks on the computer and edit/see/complete them on my phone. Only really way of improvement for me would be statistical analysis: I've not seen a way to check historically on progress on tasks, other than looking at 'show completed tasks' which is clumsy for daily tasks.
This could possibly be the best to-do list app there is if only the subtasks actually appeared on the list and in the actual widget together with their tickboxes. The app is simple enough, intuitive and does what you would expect from it. The subtask option is one of the reasons I chose this app over others. Its such a great feature however its absolutelly wasted if you have to open the task (even from the widget) everytime you want to tick a completed subtask. I would have given you 5 stars otherwise.
In concept, I love this service. Super simple to-do list that syncs between website and phone app. It's just what I w ant. I tried many others. They were all too complicated. The wunderlist people keep announcing new features I don't care about. And there is sometimes trouble syncing. Hopefully they'll keep it simple, and working.
Love it! A simple way to keep my on-task and focused. You know those days when you get to work and feel so overwhelmed by all the little things that you don't know where to start? I open up my Wunderlist and am able to feel some sense of calm, knowing exactly what I need to do next!
Wound be 5 star but won't alphabetize checked-off items making them harder to find, won't uncheck or check all items at once but is a good free version without adds and good list-sharing with friends. Would like to set item and timer at once but small complaint for the cost. Good one so for for ease of use.
In Android 7.1.1, the quick add notification persists on the lock screen and in the status bar as well. This was a huge disappointment for someone who has been using this product for years. I'd like it fixed and I'll reassign my 5 star rating to Wunderlist :)
Love it, wish they had more options if you wanted multiple reminders. Also wish they had more options with repeated events, for example: only repeats 10 times or till this date, etc. Also, wish they had a "are you sure you want to delete" once you clicked it. I did for 2 of my assignments, and I could only remember 1
All around a great app. I like how easy it is to add people to a list and how everything is in real time! It started out as a tool for business but now I use it daily for personal items like groceries, things to look into and to do lists. I enjoy the app very much!
Its very awesome tool at the personal level. On pro level I'm still trying to figure out the best integration pathways. Microsoft Flow is good so far. But I just started new Microsoft Teams. If I add Wunderlist to a channels tab, will it just open the Wunderlist mobile app? The Teams app is still new so I wasn't sure how it sync.
Strange issue if you dismiss a task and forget to go back to it. You'll never receive another notification for it again until you clear out each day that was missed. I guess that's okay, but you either have to delete the task entirely and re enter it or manually delete each day as done until you're on the current date.
This is the perfect app for someone who suffers with ADHD. It helps set reminders and "To Do" lists and Task Lists that would otherwise go incomplete. I use it daily to help manage my work and personal life and it has been a godsend. On days I don't use it I am less productive. Its definitely worth 5 Stars in my book!!!
I cannot imagine my life without this app. It might look like a simple to-do list, but it's far from it. Yes, I use it as a shopping list, but also as a meal planner, 1000s of daily reminders, and shearing ideas with my husband. It all syncs to my Google calendar, so apart from a list, I can see all of my reminders in my calendar layout.
I absolutely LOVE organizing. I downloaded about 15 different to-do apps (based on the top choices according to some articles I found online), Wunderlist is by far the best one. Happy user for over 2 years! I saw a review that you cannot choose the size of the widget, I use Nova Launcher on my phone so I am actually able to change the size of the widget.. My ONLY problem with the app is that I would want more ways to organize tasks within a list (such as color coding) they do have the option to "star" things to make them a priority but I'd like more options to avoid having to make too many lists.
Great app. Really useful and easy to use. Best to do app by far. Recommendation: Can you maybe do a calendar mode so you can see tasks more visually, with the ability to filter which lists to show. I dont use calendar apps so it would be great to get everything all under one app.
Seems like the production has stopped! After the purchase by Microsoft, there is no new update! Are they discontinuing service? Is Microsoft replacing Wunderlist by any other alternative like Outlook tasks etc?? Wunderlist was better when they were independent. And please update the cover Video in play store with new UI !
Love this app! The ability to assign tasks, have shared lists and personal lists, and set recurring tasks makes it above & beyond all others I've tried. One tiny request: I'd love if tasks with long titles could display on more than one line so I can read the whole title in my list at a glance, even on a narrow smartphone screen! Even an option where users can decide whether to "wrap" text or let it cut off.
An EXCELLENT way to manage household chores. The repeating feature for reminders is awesome for making sure little things that need done daily are getting done. the ONLY thing that could improve this is if after checking off a repeating task, if it would vanish from the list till the following day
The biggest shortcoming is the inability to create new tasks via speech-to-text. I'm currently using an app called List Note that does a pretty good job of capturing my tasks via voice input, and then sending them to Wunderlist. It works, but it adds several steps to the process. Wunderlist should have this capability built in. Other than that, it's a great task manager.
I subscribed to the pro version to get unlimited subtasks as advertised, I only got the same function of the basic version. The unlimited subtasks is a lie, it doesn't make a subtask of subtasks etc . That's deceiving, because making unlimited subtasks for a task is what any task management app dose! So I paid to get a useless feature.
Sorting is not persistent and must be reapplied each time you view a list. Changing the title, due date, and reminder time for an event all at once results in only some of the changes being saved, so you have to go back and make the changes again until it sticks. There is no option to use "hours" as an event repeat frequency.
Is there really any thing else to say about this good damned awesome app? Is any one out there who still don't know wunder_list? Also I don't use all the features, I love it and I don't imagine life without it. Know that MS is here I hope for a full sync with one note.
I really like the app it helps me so much in the normal day to day life. It is easy to use and has a clean layout. The problem with this app is that it doesn't send you notifications to remind you something. Also, the to do list doesn't pop up on your home screen. So you have to go into the app to see your reminders.
My husband and I use this daily both for our separate lists and for our combined tasks! Need him to pick up lettuce but he's already at the store? Just throw it on your shared list and he gets notified! Amazing! This type A couple loves wunderlist!
I rely on Wunderlist more and more every day. I have tried many different to do lists apps, but always return. It is the very best out there. I am dismayed at rumours that Microsoft will kill it off for To-Do, a far inferior product. Save Wunderlist! It is awesome!
Syncs well across Android app and chrome browser tab. Allows integration into Google calendar via URL. Loving this so far. Much more agile than the Outlook Task Manager. Creating due dates (if needed, on an item by item basis) or just dragging to sort based on priority just seems to be more smooth than Outlook.
I love this app! I use it to keep track of everything I need to do when it comes to school, work, and the home. My husband and I use it to keep track of which episodes are canon (because we hate filler episodes) for our favorite shows as we watch them. Plus, the app just has a beautiful design. ❤
Works very well sync is done automatically but I fnd the price for pro version way too high. I bought another app with a one off payment (£7) and it does the same as the pro version here.
but we can't edit the notification sounds just for this app. So i won't know which app ringed until i open the phone. Widget is too big!!!! Why it is 4x2 rather than 2x4 to be vertically long to see more list"s" to do.
Got Wunderlist over its rivals because of the integration it has with the Microsoft Arrow launcher I prefer. Stuck with it even though they did not move on Alexa integration. But now it turns out that Wunderlist will be shuttered in favor of MS Todo app which needs Office 365 subscription. No reason to stick around now.
Wunderlist Sold out to Microsoft and screwed all of us Android Users who disdain MS bloated products. I wish the same to them as they are doing to us. SEARCHING WUNDERLIST ANDROID ALTERNATIVES NOW!

I've only used it about a week and already feel more organized and ready to tackle my day and my projects. I tried another ToDo management system that was really great, but after the trial ended I would've had to pay $25 bucks to continue using it. I never have, and I don't think I will EVER pay $25 for ANY app. But this is way better than any app I've tried after. Thanks for the easy on eyes UI and simplicity. I'm complicated enough. I don't need anything more complex than me trying to "keep me organized".
