About Panadero - Baking Calculator

This app was created to provide hobbyist bakers a tool for creating and calculating recipes based on bakers percentages and ingredient mass.

Baking with percentage based recipes has many benefits:

- Comparing recipes is simple (i.e. which are drier, saltier, sweeter, etc.)
- Helping identify bad recipes or predict their baked characteristics
- Easily alter or add ingredient percentages without changing the other ingredients' percentages
- Recipes using ingredients like eggs produce more consistent results when measured by mass (rather than count).
- Baking recipes can be accurately and easily scaled up or down by any amount
- Accurate estimates of nutrition facts and ingredient costs

Convenient app, works great.

Using 1 recipe at a time in baker's percentage is without problem. However when combining 2 recipes, say Pâte Fermentée @25% of Final Dough. The calculator cannot seem to compute 75% and 25% off 100% Total Flour which all other ingredients are based in percentage. Thereby making ingredients wrong in portions but right or slightly off in total.

Works great, but needs some kind of intelligent rounding. Who is going to bake with anything finer than a 0.1 g accurate scale? What's the point of sub gram precision when adding 100+ g?

Installed last night 2/27/16. As of current version, i cant add a recipe. There is no menu option to add a recipe only edit the two defaults or change their category.

Easiest one to use. I am just starting to use baker's percentages and sometimes i can't math, so this is very handy. One complaint. I cannot add any new categories to the recipes or the ingredient sections.

The ability to compute for baker's percentage by flour weight and desired units/ quantity is a great help. Ability to add ingredients and unit costs, including calorie counts is also a plus factor. The ability to add ingredients not on the ingredient list as the recipe is keyed in is also ideal. Instead from main page menu. 5*

This app would be perfect if it had an alternative calculation mode for baker's percentages that include preferments in the total flour weight. To give an example, let's say I have bagel recipe at 50% hydration that has all of the water and half the flour in a poolish. In the current app, I'd be entering in 100% flour, 200% poolish, with the percentages for the other ingredients only being gauged against only half the total flour in the final dough!

Would have liked to see it pre-loaded with 20 or 50 classic bread recipes with nice shiny pictures. Sort of a combined recipe database and baking calculator. Nice you are already using material design.

I like this app. It is very helpful as a tool. You can categorise your recipes and find them easily. The cost of product is calculated as well as the yield. All recipes are in bakers percentage. I wish there was a choice in this matter. It works nice when dealing with bread but doesn't help when it comes to other products, eg cakes and creams. Maybe in a future update? Thanks Devs.

Don't ever change the color scheme. I haven't used it to create new recipes yet but I already know it's useful. Calories and cost calculated is awesome. I only wish it included facts,tips, and also basic knowledge of how to use the app . wither way. Great job.thanks
