Roses Are Read Poetry

Now a published author at age eighteen, I've been writing ever since I was able to. I write in a variety of genres and forms (lyrics, poems, novels, and scripts.) Homeschooled grades kindergarten through twelfth, my curriculum was shaped around the craft and now I attend UNC Charlotte working toward a degree in English. My goal as a young teenage author & poet is to reach out to other adolescents; not only to young writers, but also to struggling and questioning teens who may doubt anyone else understands. I wrote Roses are Read, a collection of poems that express the hassles and stages of teenage life, to let teens know there's someone else out there who feels what they feel.
