Kotak Mahindra Bank introduces AllPay, an app designed to enable payments to merchants via Bharat QR. Say hello to the new way of accepting payments. With Kotak AllPay’s Bharat QR code, you need nothing more than the smartphone in your hand to accept cashless payments instantly and securely!

What is Bharat QR?
Bharat QR Code is a Quick Response (QR) code standard that supports Visa, MasterCard and Rupay cards. QR code is a two-dimensional machine-readable code that is made up of black and white squares. The Bharat QR code enables you to accept electronic payments without the need for an EDC/POS machine.
It helps your customers make payments to you easily and quickly.

How can you accept a payment using AllPay?
Your customer can choose any of these easy payment options:
• Kotak Mobile Banking App — The customer can login and go to the banking section of the App and select the ‘Scan & Pay’ option (Bharat QR) to pay
• Or, they can pay from any mobile banking app using the ‘Scan & Pay’/Bharat QR/Scan to Pay feature

What are the key features of this app?
• Kotak AllPay is a secure, cashless app that reduces your customers’ waiting time at check-outs
• The AllPay platform is linked to your Bank account so funds get transferred directly into that account
• The AllPay app can accept payments from any mobile banking app using the ‘Scan & Pay’ option
• Unlike e-wallets which are usually not linked to your bank account, Kotak AllPay is a much more convenient and smarter choice
• You will be able to accept payments via one of two modes – All a customer needs to do is scan the Static QR code and enter the amount to pay instantly. In case of a Dynamic QR code, the merchant simply enters the amount to create a QR code valid for that transaction only. The customer can then scan this unique QR code to authorize the payment. It’s that quick!
• You have the option to create multiple sub-merchants to collect payments. This is useful in case you have multiple employees. It allows employees to login from their respective user IDs to manage and view only their own transactions
• The transactions are secure and encrypted end-to-end
• Quick settlements of dues — you will receive the settlement on a T+1 day, i.e. the next day after the transaction is done
