I love workflowy, the way you can breakdown tasks in sub menus us brilliant and totally matches my processing style. I just wish that there could be a widget option so that I can see my list on my phone without having to open the app. I need to see my to do's or they don't get done. It would be a six star from me if that were possible.

Y70%
by Y####:

Best brain dump, idea sorting, to-do list making tool I've ever tried. Been using it for years. All alternatives allow too many options that get me sidetracked with formatting or pictures. This is all I need. Thank you.

by Y####:

Workflowy is wonderful in general. This app is wonderful when it works. They seemed to have fixed the dragging and the always offline issue. I gotta say they still love Workflowy, so they still deserve our love. Totally five stars.

by Y####:

Only 250 bullet points. Lots of potential, and I guess you have to make money. But 5 bucks a month is a bit rich. Don't get greedy. I still have good old evernote for free and with a cap of 250 bullet points I won't waste my time getting invested in your product.

Fastest uninstall on my life!: Installed, saw that it was unusable without creating a "cloud" account and uninstalled immediately! Why can't I have some privacy even for simple outlines?

Y70%
by Y####:

Workflowy has become one of my go-to apps. Only wish was Android version had dark theme. Extremely useful for note taking and love the share feature.

Y70%
by Y####:

Best organizer app I've ever used. Been using it for like 8 years. Simple yet effective. IF IT HAD A WIDGET I would give it 5 stars. Come on guys... an android widget would make it soooo much easier to use.

Well I just have a problem with exiting the app as it wouldn't close x.x

Y70%
by Y####:

Aug 23 Update broken; No longer completes startup. Uninstall & Install, then log in to get it working again. Also theres no formal way to EXIT the App; so I can't give it 5 stars.

Pro user here. Would be willing to upgrade rating if: Font size could be enlarged, plus/minus for expanding/contracting was on the left (like the web version) and was bigger (for bigger fingers), starred pages were available (like on the web version). Those are all minor changes and inexcusable that parity with the web app has been delayed for so long.

Y70%
by Y####:

It's a great app, but the longer your list, the greater the app starts to lag. No other app acts like that.

N70%
by N####:

I use the app reguarly & it makes organizing notes easy! I like the minimalist look & feel. Slightly too minimal, because you can't change the background for different lighting. Night mode would be good.

Y70%
by Y####:

There is an annoying linebreak bug (since ages now), pro: free without ads / minimalistic intuitive design / superb web browser access and sync / cons: 250 new notes/month limit / not suitable for dated tasks / no exit

Awesome application with an incredible support! You guys rock! I use it every day, can't imagine myself without this precious tool. It's the Internet's little treasury.

I like it. Infinite nested lists to help you organize thoughts, things, and life. Free version is ad free and identical to pro, except you can only add 250 new list items per month, net. So you can delete some to add more. Also, you can hash tag any list items, share lists, drag/drop individual bullets, and search by keyword or hash tag.

by A####:

You go in, you can't get out. Because the developers think that their app doesn't need an exit button. It's been a long time I've been using workflowy and it hasn't been updated and improved a lot. None of the features I thought it will have, got added and they probably won't. It will be a matter of time when another infinite list app that let us insert inline images and markup formating and ... will push this service out.

Using this to prepare and present lectures. Also a great tool for structuring writing projects of any length - I have completed book reviews, articles, and a book thanks to the way this app organizes and handles hierarchical information. The ability to share subparts of your list via links is important (and easy, too).

Having to create an account is bad enough, but no access to existing notes already on my device when offline? Seriously?

Workflowy is an essential tool in my daily life. Simple and no matter what, it works. Only issue is with andorid implementation. To expand lists, the + and - are all the way to the right. Since I am using it on a chromebook, it is hard to tell which +/- is for which list. It would be som much easier to implement it similar to a web page version with the +/- on the left of the bullets. I don't use the chrome extension version since it doesn't work with a VPN on the chromebook.

Workflowy is an amazing tool. It's simple yet extensible. The web app is great. I love how it can be minimalist or infinitely customizable without much bells and whistles that others apps come with. But the android version has some regressions. It looks like a poor imitations of the Workflowy web app. Please make it look and act like native Android app. It has great potential and you could improve it for the better. Thanks for the great work.

I love Workflowy more than I can ever describe. This is the BEST piece of software I have ever used in my life. It's elegant and simple, but can scale to manage incredible complexity without ever being burdensome to use. I use it for so many things, from managing my day-to-day to-do lists, for sharing grocery lists with my wife, to keeping notes on things I want to remember, for prepping for negotiations, to drafting legal agreements, to writing everything and anything. I literally project managed the construction of a $78 million dollar, mixed-use building in Workflowy and despite the fact that it's a general purpose tool, it did the job more effortlessly than purpose built project management software. I will never be able to express how much this software does for me. I will always pay money to support you guys! Also, they fixed the drag to sort bug! (Which I think was actually a Google Chrome issue.) Yay! Workflowy is an amazing, life-changing service for organizing everything. It's awesome.

Easily add & edit entries without changing windows or modes. Easily add sub lists and/or notes to an entry. Easy to move entries around. All entries can be visible by scrolling or by zooming in on a specific entry. Great search feature. Update: I find it much easier and quicker to navigate in WorkFlowy compared to other graphically nice apps. I am always tempted to explore other apps, and while they offer nice, but unnecessary to me features, I try but uninstall quickly. It is nice that the drag a bullet point issue is fixed.

P70%
by P####:

Workflowy is great but the Android app is thoroughly inadequate. Fit only for adding items. Rearranging items is hopeless, deleting is only possible by backspacing through all the text, and formatting (bold, italic etc) isn't supported. The notes text editor is also buggy. Very disappointing.

I do like this app for planning and indexing stuff but can Devs please explain why there's still no quit/exit button or menu option after a year of updates. I don't understand. Am I missing something? I've never used an app before that had no way of closing it.

This is the only thing I use to take notes at work. It is fast, light and forces you to be very clear when typing in a meeting. The search function is amazing for preparing meetings, a quick search on a topic allows you to get a history of everything that has happened with that person/topic
