Chambers Thesaurus

Sir, if there's any​ possibility for Chambers Thesaurus app to have an intent-filter or other public interface for word lookup please add it. There're plenty of readers (Moon+, Lirbi etc) & users out there requesting dictionary applications to provide intent filters but in vain. Please be a pioneer in providing intent filter. Besides it'd be a great favour for geeks like me. Thanks!

Simple and good contents

I have this app on my IPad & use it often. On my IPad this app has never crashed & has always provided me with the word or phrase sought. I can't think of anything more that is necessary to write other than I think this app is worth the cost. These are my opinions - why I purchased this app, AND THE DICTIONARY, for my Android. Also - this company created WordWeb, the talking dictionary/thesaurus I have used for many years on my Windows-based laptop.

...even though it doesn't contain that phrase. Integration with Chambers Dictionary and customizable online references is seamless. Hint: for more synonyms and usage notes, create an online reference for thesaurus dot com followed by "/browse/@@?s=t".

this is going to really help with having a shoddy memory and no data plan. also, THANK YOU for having font sizing the settings. Has words. Lots of them. Many. A plethora.

I don't use a thesaurus as much as a dictionary but when I do this app never fails to please comments much the same as for the companion Chambers Dictionary app, which I use all the time. Both apps are must haves and very good value.

'Creature', for instance. Hardly anything in this paid thesaurus, yet look it up in the free Wordweb (under 'show types') and there's a bucketfull of descriptive words. And creature is not even listed in Chambers dictionary.

For the app switcher in the index menu, and theme variation.

Just brilliant, interactive, drill down on alternative words, navigate back, love it.

I will give this five stars when an update is available to the 5th edition, provided the update is at least as good as this 4th edition and works without a hitch.

A good reliable app. Would be better if it was a floating app so that it could be referenced without closing the document you are working on.

Splash screen every time it's opened - annoying, time-wasting and completely unnecessary. And it would be far better to have thesaurus and dictionary in one app instead of constantly having to switch.
