Watch Trigger for Pebble

My favourite camera app for the Pebble but I can't give it 5 stars since my Pebble Round is not supported. Whenever we're taking family photos, I have to go switch my watch.

Awkward to use, but does the job. Camera app is minimal, and Nexus 5X camera is upside down. OW Camera for Pebble works better.

I just bought my first Peeble Time the other day an I came across this app. I really love it! 5 stars from me!

Have loved this app in the past (but for a few bugs that make it crash) wondering if it has or will have pebble time round support?

One request, make it possible to switch between front and rear camera from the Pebble.

It's important to note that this app is a Pebble trigger release which only works with the bundled camera app. It doesn't work with the phones native camera app.

Nexus 6p: Works perfectly for the back camera. But the photo on my front facing camera is inverted.

On my Nexus 7 tablet it works only with the front-facing camera, not the rear-facing. Additionally the preview after taking images doesn't work properly, and will often show either a black frame or a frame taken after the shot. Also, you have to tap the screen to take another photo after taking one. Very limited use.

Good app but I'm taking pictures in portrait mode but it saves them in landscape (Note 3, Firmware 1.14.1)

This app works on both the phone and the Pebble well except for one odd thing on the phone app. On the phone everything in the UI is rotated to landscape even while I am holding the phone in portrait. So if I want to read the screen I either have to look at it sideways or turn the phone landscape. I can still take pictures while holding the phone in portrait but then I have to rotate any images to the right 90 degrees that are taken in portrait mode. I have a Galaxy SII and firmware v1.14.1 on my new Pebble. This app gets 5 stars when the UI read right side in portrait mode.

Works with photos. However couldn't get instant review to work, just says "Awaiting review!". Wish it worked for videos too, would be very useful.

Didnt work for me. It installed and I pressed take photo.... and it never came back from "in Progress". Does it work for Pebble time ?

Need to refresh on handset after every shot

While Launching The Watch Trigger on Android Jelly Bean 4.3 with pebble steel SDK 2.9 on standby mode clock screen always On, it will hang on the android smartphone, and on pebble steel will not automatically show the app watch trigger… trick, before open it on android press menu button on pebble steel…

I didn't realize there was a companion app on the phone that needed to be on.

When I installed, there was a video function. Then suddenly, the app told me I had to buy it. Loses 1 point. The video would not allow rear-facing camera. Another point. IF the bought app would support rear-facing camera, I might buy it, but there is no way to find that out. Another point. Otherwise, a useful app, four stars to start, possibly five if it turns out to be glitch-free.

Works well on the GS4

It worked once, then I couldn't get it to work ever again. I'm assuming user error, I'll keep trying...

While the update solved the connection problem, the quality of images is still poor.

I don't know what's wrong with it but it will not connect to my pebble. If I get it working I will change my rating but as of now it doesn't work.

I assume it is trying to find the camera but I am constantly being told the app is "waiting...". Not quite sure what to do to fix it. Tried re-installing to no effect. Please offer some advice?

Definitely a fun little add on to what your pebble allows you to do, especially if you could mount your phone up, but the app has some issues and is missing some components that would make it great IMO: 1) the timer shutter sound does not match up to when the picture is actually being taken; there is a second or two lag between them 2) there is no way to access your photo gallery directly through the app 3) it would be nice to have some zoom functionality in the app. maybe double press the top or bottom button on your pebble to zoom in or out and also have a associated zoom indicator overlay within the app.

Picture will only be taken, if the mobile's display is on. The App has potential for more.

Nice app but I'm having trouble viewing the photos in the actual gallery.

While this does trigger you shutter on your phone camera, it doesn't use the built in camera app but instead uses it's own very low resolution camera app. Very bad pictures. (NOTE:) Todays update fixed the resolution. This is the first app of several I've used that now uses the correct resolution of your phone, and it's user selectable. Great app! Just one email to developer and the next day he fixed it! Great developer contact! Changed my rating from 1 star to all 5!
