WordKik Browser was designed to prevent your children from seeing adult content online! WordKik Browser blocks adult websites like pornography websites, inappropriate images and videos.
This app is designed to be used with our WordKik Parental Control app. Install WordKik Browser on your child's phone or tablet and install WordKik Parental Control on your own phone or tablet.
NOTE: Both apps cannot be installed on the same device! Only install WordKik Browser on your child's phone/tablet.
WordKik Browser features:
✔ Blocks inappropriate websites, images & videos
✔ Provides a safe environment for your child to explore the web
Using the (parent) app "WordKik Parental Control" you can:
✔ Limit App Usage for example you can limit Facebook to 2 hours per day when your child reaches their limit on the app, the app will be automatically locked for that day.
✔ Set Daily time locks for your child's entire device to be locked when its time for homework, bed time or dinner time.
✔ Receive weekly statistics about your child's online and offline activities. Learn how long your children spend on different apps & more....
✔ Track your child's location if you are worried or if your child's device is lost or stolen
✔ Set Geo-fences then you will be notified if your child enters/leaves a certain location
SETUP INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Install and Setup WordKik Browser on your child’s phone or tablet.
2. After downloading and setting up WordKik Browser on your child’s device you can then begin to create your child’s profile.
3. On WordKik Parental Control app (parent app) create a child profile in the Children section.
4. The first step in creating a child profile is to link your child’s profile to the WordKik Browser app which is on your child’s phone or tablet. You have two options to link the profile you can either enter the code manually or scan the QR code displayed on your child’s WordKik Browser app.
5. Once you have successful entered the code manually or when you have successfully scanned the QR code on your child’s WordKik Browser app, you can then enter your child’s details.
6. When you finish entering your child’s details your child’s WordKik Browser app will be linked to your child’s profile which means you can now use all the features we provide.

Potentially it's seems a great app. Installed it just to ask why does it require that many permissions, to get access to my (parent's) log, activity, phone number and such? Seems it asks for too much that violates even parent's privacy. (Starting dialog with one star for now).

My dad installed this cruddy app on my phone. Is there no sense of privacy for teens!? Is it that hard for these parents to trust us!? I was on Facebook talking to a girl I like and it blocked that!! Teens guna be teens doggone it! And now it's broken my iPad. I can't go on Google chrome, and this browser doesn't even work, even my dad can't fix it. Can't parents do something besides spying on, and lying to their teens 24/7!?

I like the idea and I want to use this but I've downloaded wordkik child on to my phone instead of my kids and now it won't let me uninstall or deactivate it. I now have it downloaded on my kids phone. But I can't do anything bc I downloaded the wrong one on mine. Please help. Need wordkik browser deleted off my phone

You can't deactivate it or uninstall it and you u can't access the Internet for anything at all event if it's children staff like when my child tried searching the Web for school info it wouldn't let me and I don't know why I forgot my pass word and it doesn't give me the option of what I should do if forgot my password so I can't access the Internet.please help urgently

My old man insisted on testing this app. I was against it for very obvious reasons and not really convinced that it would work as he said that it would. It left me speechless that it did turn out the way he said that it would work. I thought I could hack my way out the apps that he locked on my device easily but to be honest, I put zero effort in even trying to remove this app. It works absolutely great, even for the beta version. Best parenting app I encountered so far. Job well done!

I had the parent app and it kept showing my child as offline. I deleted and reinstalled the apps for both devices and reconnected them. The child app keeps blocking my child from using anything on their device, despite me not having anything blocked, and is making me enter my password every few seconds. Not worth the huge headache!
