Philips SpeakerSet for Android
Awful app. Froze the first time I opened it before I even got past the welcome screen. Tried 30 minutes to connect a speaker but didn't work. App crashed every time.
Updated Android recently, now I can't connect to the speaker. Guessing we won't get an app update though and now this thing is junk?
Since I upgraded my phone to Pixel, I can't connect the speaker to WiFi. Waste of time and money.
Doesn't work on latest version of Android
The speaker is very impressive, sounds great and more than enough volume for my large room... The app worked well to connect the speaker to Spotify and now I control volume etc from within Spotify... Happy Bunny..
It does what it's supposed to. The only downside is that you cannot play your local songs from spotify premium to the speaker! Hope this will be solved in future firmwire updates, as it's the only feature missing to be the best multiroom speaker set.
Great, speaker works well, but installed a second unit, both the first and the second speaker appear to send music too in the Spotify app. But... As soon as the speakers are grouped together there is no option to play on an individual speaker in Spotify. This has been commented by another reviewer, need the option to create a new group of just 1 speaker.
Be aware speakers have the worst wifi module on board. You need to install almost next to wifi router in order to get a good connection. There are never firmware updates either so no support. Seems as Philips doesn't care so much for this product anymore.
Works but could do with a widget for volume adjustment of individual speakers. Also on my tablet it insists on beginning landscape. Also, would be good to have ability to send sound individually to one speaker or select a group via connect.
Was pleased with these until during set up I came to add my fifth and subsequently six/seventh speaker to be told in app that I'd reached my max of four per group. I'm really annoyed as I bought 7 of these units to go around my home and now I've got to keep switching between which four I can have at once. Which given the tag line of 'play music in multiple rooms' this now falls a bit short. I wanted to get every room set up and planned to expand to 12 units but I now won't bother. Increase group sizes!
Setup is straight forward! It wound be even better with Internet radio feature. I'm shore that hardware is more than enough it's just matter of software! Is there enny plans to add it in future?
See title.
Good app, easy to use and set up but only think I would like to see change is pick certain speakers to play without having to make a set group. So manually change speaker as you go from room to room. Other than that, really like it and impressed with the speakers, especially for thr price!
I really loved this speaker, beautiful sound, but there's no possibility to play sounds or musics from another app like YouTube or sounds from own videos???
Fantastic!!
Can't sync to Spotify
Why is location permission needed?
Good

Great love it but! , if I am at work and want to play Spotify on my phone and then my wife starts playing Spotify at home through speakers, my phone stops. Sound right?
Just got another speaker and grouped the two together. Great! Works really well. One (massive) problem.. grouped speakers can't be used on their own. Going into spotify, I expected to see the two speakers and the group on spotify connect, but I only see the group. What's that about?

Internal build quality is horrible like cheap China stereo from 90's loads of hot glue. Actualy electronics hardware is same on 700 and 750 only added tweeter and box layout is different on 750. Setup is straight forward! It realy need aux input, otherwise it's absolutely useless without Spotify account. For spotify usage hard buttons great. It would be even better with Internet radio feature. I'm shore that hardware is more than enough it's just matter of software! Is there enny plans to add it in future?
