Woolworths for Android
Registering as a first time user I had to scroll back through the calendar month by month for 70 years. Ludicrous. The developer should have simple drop down selection boxes for day, month, year. As for ordering and making lists forget it. I thought I would be able to order regularly bought items but am simply told "out of stock" with no option to request they be ordered in. Will have a look at the Coles app. As for choosing a pickup location forget it, too hard to do. I'm travelling and want to pickup at the next town on my itinerary that has a woollies. It's all too hard, not user friendly and lacking sophistication as a piece of software.
I had been using this app for a while now until the recent updates just made it bad for me. I seriously hope they fix it.
Hasn't worked properly in weeks. Keeps crashing and can't find barcodes of the products they have in their stores. Really disapointed.
Such an awful App from a big corporate like Woolworths? Shocking ! It stops every after few seconds when you start scrolling down to search products
The main feature I used was finding what aisle a product was in. Now that feature is gone, the app is useless to me.
1 problem fixed another emerges although Im not sure if technically its the apps fault but maybe the stores? Went to a different woolies today as i was in the area and decided to get my grocery shop done. Changed my local store to this one (blacktown westpoint) and everything I had in my list was listed under the wrong aisle number. On the app, everything on my list started at aisle 5 but in the store I actually started in aisle 2. An example. Nappies were listed in aisle 13 but are actually in aisle 2. Not really a problem for me as I dont shop there much at all. Just thought id share that the aisle numbers dont match from app to store there.
This app use to work well. Now the credit card window disappears everytime I try to use it making it incredibly annoying and inconvenient to use because I have to go to the actual website.
I used to use this app to creat a list or to order my shopping to be delivered but not now. it would appear that I can only see the specials and nothing else, the app simply says "oops something went wrong." opps bad app and being uninstalled. maybe coles can provide and app that works.
I did gave 5 stars but now it gets 2. Keeps freezing or error msg about net connection lost when scrolling through the Specials list. Looks like I'll be using Coles App until this get fix
Love the usability of the app, til I try to pay for my groceries and the credit card payment bit vanishes never to return. Apparently woolworths don't want my money, sadly I want my products in my cart though. Guess I will have to drag my little one out into the cold to shop in store and hope they have what I am after.
Every category I select says theyre having trouble showing items please try again later! EVERYTIME only stock I can see to put into basket is special items!!
This app used to be okay but recent update has rendered it quite unreliable. So far have experienced several glitches....These glitches include search for rice brings up pasta sauces as results instead. Pictures of product not matching description eg. description says milk but product picture is a loaf of bread. Really hope you get this sorted and getting working as reliably as used to.
I would rate it higher if the rewards card could be reached quicker. When at the check out it can be cumbersome getting to the barcode in order to scan it.
Just downloaded the app- selected my local store then went to choose produces and have wasted 20min of my life... Barcode scanner doesn't work on any items (all previously bought from Wooloes) cannot find bread or milk... pretty basic stuff!! It just says "we are having difficulties trying to load products, give us a moment then give it another try" piss poor from such a mega company as woolies!! I'd sack your overseas developers as they are NOT doing you any favours
Didn't think this app could get any worse, but it did. Cannot search for items. Nothing happens. Whoever keeps working on this app needs to be fired.
Yay! The app is back and running. Thank you to the developers for addressing the issue and taking the time to inform us that the connection bug was fixed.
It use to be great. But then an update happened and now it's telling me my entire shopping list is restricted for delivery time. No matter what day i chose, and i tried every day of the coming week, it was still all restricted.
The app isn't syncing with my phone unless I sign out and then sign back in. Same for my wife's phone. Both phones are using the same login as the website. When I log in one phone it syncs fine whether the change is made on the phone or web page. Then, when I log in the other phone without logging out the first phone, it seems to take over syncing properly, while the other phone won't sync at all.
Finally fixed the connection bug. Took you too long to address that.
The stupid app happy to tell me I've entered the wrong password, but God forbid I enter the right one, because it them error out.
This app would be better if you could add the recipes to favourites and also search for them in a search bar. Please add paypal as a payment option.

Keeps crashing when im scrolling through specials. Makes it pretty much useless if you cant check out more than 20 listings.
About the worst search functionality I've ever seen. Example: search for "blueberries" (the fruit) from within the fruit & veg section, I get yoghurt, muesli bars, muffin mix, probiotics and sixty other products that contain blueberry. Then I have to scroll through this list to find what I really want. Every search is similarly frustrating.
Finally the application is working again. Can you add all the items in your stores to the data base. Several items are not being found when scanned. Almost as good as it used to be.
Poor functionality. Crashes when trying to browse specials.
It was unusable for over a month due to error message. Finally, got an update and could use it again, only to find same error message two days later. Search is horrible cause you can't search certain category.
Not all store locations show. eg three stores in Bundaberg region, however only one shows on the map.
Bright, Victoria store is not listed as a store. Please fix!
Horrible. The app goes into meltdown when you scroll through their specials., with the error being no "a connection issue". There is no connection issue on user and. It seems most users have been seeing this error lately too. Sad, because woolworths app was SO great. Now it's just as useless as the coles app.
The coles app is far superior to this one. I want to online shop with Woolworths occasionly but this app always makes me go back to Coles. Don't really understand why when i search for a product in the app i only find a limited number of said product but if i type it into the website there is so many more options, shouldn't the people who have bothered to fight with your app get more options not less. I'll just keep shopping with Coles then I guess.
I loved the ease of use of this app and the simple interface BUT products I buy weekly quite often don't show up eg; Woolworths sparkling mineral water. The app is just too unreliable when it comes to the availability of stock.
I've used this app since the beginning. For a long time it steadily improved. Recent "updates" have gone downhill in usefulness. Still can't print a shopping list. Product information is no longer available so shopping for an allergy or just a dietary choice (eg. vegetarian) is not possible. Aisle information doesn't seem to be there either anymore. The Coles app is now much better in these areas.
With so many people having the same problem with the connection error issue.... hiw long is it going to take you to fix it??? Seriously it has been a couple of months since mine has been doing it!
This is the my second dalliance with Willie's rewards and apps. 1 st time was slow to get functioning, then worked well for several months unroll I lost my card then that was it!! I have now installed this app and got an application for a new card It will not let me register, It tells me the card number scanned is invalid!! There's nothing user friendly or convenient here :-/
This app is seriously frustrating. I cannot and have not used it for weeks due to "oops we seem to have a problem" it's a shame, I did really like the app once upon a time..
I used to love the woolworths app. But know when I am looking at specials it says opps a connection error. It stops working i tryed reinstalling the app but it didn't work. Can you please fix the woolworths app.
The app is good in terms of finding products but has one big flaw, you can't have a sub list of just the products you want on any given shop. You have to scroll through the whole list and try and remember what you need now. There are plenty of apps that can do this so you guys should be able to.
UPDATE: This app won't recognise any store credit codes or voucher codes. Absolute rubbish. You have to call their customer service team and wait in queue for half hour to get the order in, because they are unable to program a functioning app. The customer service agent acknowledged as much "the app has got a lot of issues" (!!) Seriously, how come a company as big as Woolworths tolerates an app as shoddy as this?? It is sometimes an ordeal to put a simple shopping order with this app. It has almost as many error messages as Woolworths has products, some of the recent ones in the selection are: "Window has not been set for this checkout" (it was but it probably managed to lose it!) or "Sorry, there is an issue with your connection. Do you want to try again?" (no, my connection is fine and every other app on my phone works with no problems). Woolworths is pushing away customers with such a buggy time-wasting app

The Coles app is far better. Woolworths app got Bugs..never works.Always errors. Because of Coles app I do my grocery mostly in Coles.
