About Nickel Tracker
The Nickel Tracker App lets you achieve an "envelope" budgeting system using your Android mobile device. This app is excellent for the modern budget-conscious person who wants to create and stick to a budget simply using the device that you carry with you everywhere you go. Nickel Tracker allows you to enter all of your daily, weekly and monthly expenses right into your cell phone throughout the day as you make purchases. You can enter your own specific categories to be tracked and then add your weekly and monthly limits for each category. When you reach your weekly or monthly limit in a category it turns RED, indicating your "envelope" is empty. Email yourself a monthly summary in CSV (excel/spreadsheet) format. Nickel Tracker is free and will always be free. There is no registration required.

Great to keep track of spending. Would give it five stars, if it offered the opportunity to create independent budgets for my own account as well as the one I share with my partner. Also nice to have if it could be synced across multiple devices and allow input of regular spend (rent, utilities) as recurring rather than every occurence manually.

Great budget tracker, very simple and straight forward. One thing I would like in the app is the capability to choose a day to start a week with.

Easy to set up and excels quick inputs. No card tracking, so best for people who rely on cash. Great for at a glance information on spending. However, since you can't label individual inputs into one folder its not useful for tracking over months, and any miscellaneous folder becomes unwieldy. That and somewhat high battery use dock a point.

Would like to see amounts greater than 9999 per day, usefull for folks using currencies other than USD. Yen for example ;)
