BG Monitor Diabetes Pro for Android
I just started using this app and like it a lot. I have tried many others. This makes it very easy to get a quick overview of my diabetes control and helps me set my insulin and carb ratios better. I like the graph and the estimated A1c features. I like the customized food library.
Best Blood Suger app out there. A little time to understand the termanology used but good after that. Especially like the reminders feature. Makes me a more responsible diabetic.
The main thing I would like to see is the exercise info embedded a bit more, similar to the way food is used. I can't seem to work out how/if you can take away units after inputting an exercise. I love how you can save food details specific to your diet and I don't have to calculate it each time.
Not impressed. No versatility. There are much better apps out there.
Using this app I have brought my A1C down a point in 4 months and my endo is very happy. This is a comprehensive, full featured app that will help you calculate your insulin dose, graph your sugars, and allow you to tag your log entries. It also reminds you when you have insulin on board, although it won't calculate bolus remaining, which is a feature I would love to see. The developer is responsive to questions. Overall A+ app.

It's good but for the amount of money I paid, you guys should include an option for inputting the amount of sugar each food has
I've been type 1 for 50 years now--this is the best program i have found so far--simple to use and only what's needed to help keep things in control. Only wish it came combined with a program like fit day that had food carb values so i only had to use one program.
Ive been a Type 1 Insulin-Dependent Diabetic all of my life & with the lack of education & information available about Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus in the US & having countless horrible experiences with doctors who think they know my body better than i do, this app helps clear a lot of the gaps & enables me, as a patient, to have better detailed conversations with all my doctors letting them know that im extremely educated about my condition. So thank you to the makers of this app; i hope u come up with more!=)
It has helped with monitoring bg and calculating insulin units.
Wish I could export to excel and insulin was related to the clicks on a pen.
It doesn't have a flashy futuristic interface, or cute graphics, or grocery list/meal planner, or a Web enabled recipe database that you'll never realistically use. It's a Blood Glucose Log that allows you to enter your own Food Nutritional Database, statistically track your highs and lows, and export your logs to a CSV file that can be imported into a spreadsheet that be formatted the way your endocrinologist wants. Everything I wanted. I no longer have to hunt for a pen or pencil to log my BG!
Im mad since the new upgrade I haven't been able to email my report to my DR its say unable to attach fiel -_-
Works great! Very useful and professional.
Simple & powerful. Does what you need. Dev keeps it up-to-date and responds quickly. Need I say more...
I love this app...I can change my tags, I can put in notes, I can keep such great records of my blood sugars! My doctor loves all the detail. I will never stop using this app! Thanks Gordon! I paid for the pro version.. it is worth every cent.....
Very please with app!
This is a great app but it was better before the recent update. It's becoming cluttered and messy to use. Its strength is that it automatically works out your insulin to carb numbers and the presentation was excellent. Starting to lose the ease and convenience with too many menus and options. Don't over complicate, it's the simplicity that made it great to use.
For tracking your blood sugar and insulin
Was a great program - now is even better!!! Love the addition of being able to add your own food database. I was using another program for that, but had trouble with items without serving sizes and so much in the database I would never use. Now that the programmer has added this section, I can add only what I need to. 5 stars for sure!!!
Need decimal input in food database
Wish I could import to excel.
Vonderful application. Thank you.
Im mad since the new upgrade I haven't been able to email my report to my DR its say unable to attach fiel -_-
This is the most informative diabetic tool I have. Definitely buy the professional version. The only request I have: It would be nice if it could sync with Go Meals!!
Easy to use. Quick data input. Great for insulin users. Bolus calculator and insulin on board warning are really helpful. I've been using another app for a year but this one is much better.
If you like the Runtastic apps, you'll love this app. Beautiful layout, quick one-two taps to your data, no buried access. Keep being reminded of your A1C and insulin to stay in range. Pleasure to use. Go pro!
I love the fact that not only can I enter my numbers but also look at trends over a much longer time than my meter allows. And being able to export data into Excel for doctor visits is invaluable.
I've been a type 1 Diabetic for almost 20 years this July. I made attempts to use the good O'l log books and spread sheets which are good, but I was never disciplined enough to use them consistently. Almost 20 years later, I'm using this app on my Samsung Galaxy Note 3!! I've used other diabetics apps before, but this is the one that love and appreciate the most. Now that I'll be using an insulin pump soon, I will have 2 ways to manage my Type 1 Diabetes. Thanks for the hard work in creating this app!
Works well and has really helped manage my A1c.
I have been using it a couple of weeks now, my gp loves it. Needs to show total bolus tho, doesn't include correction amount on the entry. Other than that it's great
It would be nice if it would synchronize with My Fitness Pal and Endomondo
Keep going with adding new features
Best diabetes management app I have found - and I have tried quite a few.
As a diabetic, I have tried and tested dozens of sugar logging apps to much frustration, since the standard is abysmal in terms of usability and features: Most have way too many features and terribly inefficient UIs, and some are primitive apps with no features.bgmonitor strikes the best balance I have found so far and has some great potential. In the end, the one thing that is most important for such an app is: Does it encourage and support you in collecting LOTS of high quality data? bgmonitor is currently the best but there are some improvements possible to speed this up. I will be in touch on that... + Minimizes unnecessary steps before entering values (the most important function: Log) + Decent statistics and curves + Data export possible. To improve: - The pipeline between data in the app and the view that a doctor wants to see is not supported well yet (neither is it in any other app for android, it seems!). Took me hours to crunch this in Excel. - Deleting my data on the upgrade was something I am willing to forgive. Once. Please don't do that again. Ever. - Some of the recent changes decrease usability (time sliders, removed insulin type!? I need that!)
Have been through many applications trying to get my t1d under control, this one tops them all. Easy to use, very well laid out, even my doctor was impressed. Dev is very quick to respond to emails. Keep up the great work!
Missing several optional but still useful features like weight and events management. Yet, nice laconic and clear UI and good stable app
Been T1 for 42 years and been using handheld logging apps for the past 15 years, even wrote my own Palm Handspring app years ago. This one tops them all! And the developer is first rate, very involved and very responsive. This app will only continue to get better
I think I have downloaded just about all of them. This is simple and straight forward. Entry is quick and easy. Great job!

Didn't know my insulin isn't listed until after I bought it so useless
