Has this on my old Nexus 4, saved my power button. Installed this on ZTE Axon 7, Nougat 7.1.1, worked perfectly, then the next day, proximity won't sense, not worried, use finger print to open, widget works to close ok.

Alex, there are some problems with this app which started last week. It does not wake up most times. Some times it works fine. I am using Nexus 5. My sensor works fine though. Any ideas when this will be fixed ?

Wohooooohooooo... My proximity sensor is damaged.so i was having problem during calls.. I installed this app nd turned off automatic sensors now I'm really happppppy :)

Not working all the time. After 30 minutes, it doesn't wake up the locked screen. Please debug that.

Installed this on Nexus 5x. It works great. If you want to be able to unlock your phone while sitting on your desk it just plain works great. It does not work with the finger print sensor which is a bummer but I don't use that anyway because I don't want to pick my phone up off the desk to use it. Yes you can use your power button to do the same function but now you don't even need to touch the screen. Just hover over the proximity sensor in the upper speaker grill until the notification lights up green in the lower speaker grill. Quickly remove your hand and lock or home screen will appear depending on how you have it set. You can also just cover up the sensor by tapping it with your finger on the right corner of the upper speaker grill. Pretty cool. A+!

This is the best lock/unlock app without using the power button so far ! However, when I press the "off" it my screen would lock but it would automatically on back to my lock screen... Is this supposed to happen.? Please reply thanks : )

It does not work well on my LG F6 LTE D505 (v. 4.1.2). There is a delay of 10 seconds turning off the screen. It worked perfectly on my other phones LG Optimus Black, Lenovo A6000, Redmi Note 4G and Samsung Galaxy Ace 3.

I used this app for a week in my miui.. Too bad after sometime the service stopped. I already locked the app in memory but still, the app stopped. Too bad, huh? Hence the 4 stars until the workaround, maybe with xposed plugin? Who knows?

This app has squeezed out at least an extra year of life from my Nexus 5 after I started facing issues with the power button. The app works extremely well 99% of the time and barely uses any battery. Highly recommend this

Waking up is patchy, but the shortcut on home screen to shut off screen is spot on. Don't ever have to use power button to close screen. I am using Samsung A7 and am happy with this app.

When you turn off the screen by clicking icon , you are not able to activate with fingerprint sensor and need to unlock screen with pin.

I've rigged the settings so that the screen wakes up with a wave of my hand. This app has helped make my first Android experience a great one. I've tried a handful of screen wake apps, and I keep returning to this one. Still wish this phone had a knock on feature, but grateful for this app.

I was having the classic Nexus Power button problem and this app has been my life saver. It works great with minimal power consumption. But, there seems to be an issue when the earphones are plugged in, it doesn't seem to be working. Can you please fix this too.

First of all ur app is great. I js wana say that please make it more compatible to android m 6.0.1, Sometimes it doesn't work with it and please provide an option to remove the notification from status bar, Please improve its icons! And Secondly it is consuming 30 to 40% Power on daily basis! Please fix it and may be u can introduce double tap function. Please resolve all these issues. We all are facing it Thanks in advance. i hope u will consider it and give us a positive response.

Pro. Works great Con. Sometimes doesn't work or screen illuminates black. Power button broke on my Nexus and this is the best app. Using marshmallow Android. Would of gave 5 stars and still will if they fix the issue where the display doesn't turn on properly.

Used it for five minutes! Absolutely loved it! My ****ed up power button of HTC desire 709d is not needed anymore (though I love the set :) because of its CDMA capabilities ). Tried other apps with the proximity thing and were quite crappy. But this appears flawless. Just waiting to see the Battery draining issue. Reviews said uses less battery than other apps...hoping its true :)

Installing this app is my latest effort to preserve my Nexus 5's crap LG power button. I already lost my original N5 to this issue. Now on a Google provided refurb., this app works very well. Between this app for activating the screen, and Power Toggles for turning it off, I rarely have to touch the power button. LG really should have fixed the N5 power button with a recall. Shame on them... PS - I wouldn't mind if the app lost the always on notification, but I can live with it.

It's GREAT!! my power button busted last month, so i have a hard time turning my phone on off, this app help me so much!!! u guys need to add double tap proximity feature ( if it doesn't use more power ) then I'll give it 5 stars, overall the app is great, liked it :) (srry 4 bad English)

This app is awesome. Will save my power button for sure. Battery usage is about 4 - 5% for about 10 hours average on time. So I think it's acceptable. Oh and one more thing, somehow I find it easier to wake the device by swiping my thumb over the proximity censor than tapping on it.

Although I have set the service run in background but after a period of time, say 15 minutes, it's killed by the system. Please fix it soon!(my ROM is based on 4.4.4 KitKat)

This app is very fast to react, occupies less space, uses least RAM and Power. There are many apps here which has got more features than this one but this app is the best for those who just want to avoid using the power button to turn off the display

Love my nexus 5. Hate it's power button. Love this app. I use nova launcher settings to double tap to turn off display, this app to turn the display on again

I have a nexus 5, just installed this. How do I set this up?? I cannot find instructions anyways, and checking off 'run as administrator' does not do the trick. can you please help?
