This app called "Norway - North Cape 2 " is a series of app-guide dedicated to the immense natural and cultural heritage of Northern Norway. In video 1 we followed the route Honningsvåg - Gjesvaer - Kamoyvaer. While in this second app, "Norway - Head North 2 ", we follow the route Skarsvåg - Nordkapp (North Cape) with a series of curiosity along the route.

ITINERARY
Arrive by plane from Oslo to Alta and continue Honningsvåg which is located on the island of Magerøya, which for some years was connected with a tunnel to the mainland and so, you can reach by car.

HONNINGSVÅG - is a village of 3200 inhabitants located in the municipality of Nordkapp, the northernmost municipality of Norway, in the county of Finnmark and here, there are all basic services. Honningsvåg is located 35 km from the North Cape (Nordkapp)

SKARSVÅG - is the northernmost fishing village in the world.

GJESVAER - is an ancient fishing village located 35 km from Honningsvåg. Refer to n.1 in the map.

NILS SOMBY CAMP - The Camp Somby Nils is a camp of nomadic Sami which is located along the main road to Nordkapp. Nils Somby with his family and his herd of reindeer arrive each year in late May on the island of Magerøya after a transhumance of about 250 km.

NORDKAPP (NORTH CAPE) - is the most famous place in Norway and in summer, dozens of bus will arrive from all over the world to admire the phenomenon of the Midnight Sun. Access to the North Cape plateau and the services of a polyvalent center for a fee.

NOTES
Restaurants, hotels, campsites and tourist services are the island's main sites. Please remember to bring warm clothes with you because even if the weather is nice not to forget that the variability of weather here is the main rule. Respect nature and do not light fires except where strictly allowed.
