Dopo lo splash screen si viene introdotti direttamente alla scheda informativa dove in fondo c'è un pulsante per avviare il video. La mappa e le altre schermate sono accessibili premendo il pulsante menu e scegliendo l'opzione desiderata.
La World On Communications, dal 1990, ha realizzato oltre 80 videoguide su differenti e suggestivi luoghi del mondo. Ogni videoguida è strutturata come un itinerario facilmente ripercorribile durante le proprie vacanze. Adesso, queste videoguide e le loro informazioni formano la base di una nuova serie di applicazioni per dispositivi Android.

Ciascuna app è suddivisa in 3 parti:

Queste app "MACHU PICCHU / Cammino Inca 1 e 2" fanno parte della serie di app-guide dedicate all'immenso patrimono naturale e culturale del Perù. Nel video 1 seguiremo l'itinerario Cusco - Km 88 - Qoriwayrachina - Wayllabamba - Runkurakay - Sayajamarca - Phuyupatamarca... Nel video 2 seguiremo l'itinerario Phuyupatamarca - Huíñayhuayna - Intipuncu - Machu Picchu.

COME ARRIVARE: da LIMA a CUSCO volo nazionale diretto, durata circa 90 minuti. BUS: Si può giungere a Cusco seguendo il percorso classico Lima - Paracas - Nazca - Arequipa - Puno - Cusco per scoprire le meraviglie principali del Perù. Diversi pacchetti sono offerti dai tour operator sia in Perù che nel mondo.

PRECAUZIONI E VACCINAZIONI
Non sono richieste vaccinazioni perticolari se non ci si reca fuori dai percorsi turistici. Consigliata per precauzione la vaccinazione contro la febbre gialla, ha una valenza di dieci anni e vi può servire per altri viaggi.

NOTE
CUSCO si trova a 3400 m d'altezza, sia che arrivate direttamente da Lima che dopo aver percorso il tour classico, vi suggeriamo di prendervi mezza giornata di riposo e muovervi lentamente. Non assumete bevande alcoliche ne bevande troppo fredde bensì chiedete una tazza del tipico matè di coca, un infuso che aiuta a regolare la respirazione a queste altitudini.

ITINERARIO DEL CAMMINO INCA CLASSICO PER MACHU PICCHU
Il Cammino Inca di Machu Picchu è il più famoso e meglio conservato della rete di percorsi o cammini che furono creati durante l'espansione dell'Impero Inca. Con i suoi sentieri di ciottoli attraversa importanti resti archeologici come Huayllabamba, Runcuracay, Sayacmarca, Puyupatamarca, Huíñayhuayna e Intipuncu fino alla grande cittadella di Machu Picchu. È necessario disporre di almeno quattro giorni per percorrerlo. La geografia del Cammino Inca sebbene sia accidentata ed in alcuni casi abbastanza pericolosa offre la sola possibilità per ammirare questi imponenti resti archeologici immersi in splendidi paesaggi tra cui imponenti vette innevate, boscaglie rigogliose e lussureggianti foreste umide. L'acqua è abbondante nei torrenti in fondo ai burroni che scorrono protetti dai forti venti caratteristici degli alti passi di montagna.

Il Cammino Inca inizia 82 km da Cusco e il percorso per Machu Picchu è di 42 km.

CLIMA
Il clima nella zona del percorso è generalmente mite tutto l'anno. Il momento migliore per attraversarlo è durante la stagione secca (aprile-ottobre). Giugno è il mese più freddo e agosto offre un clima più mite e stabile.
