Larix Broadcaster

Fantastic free RTMP streaming app. I'm using it to stream to Nginx with the rtmp module. Only one I've found which allows to stream at very high resolution from the great camera in my Google Pixel 2 phone. Only downside it it stops streaming after 2Gb. This wouldn't be a proplem at the Nginx end as it supports splitting the recording of incoming live streams. So no use for streaming (in high definitiion) an event longer than 45 minutes or so.

Great app, but it should really be able to keep on streaming even when you turn your screen off or switch away from the app.

Great app, works really well. One suggestion, if you could implement FPS adjustments that would be great.

Looks to be going in the right direction. Unfortunately it doesn't support RTMP authentication and our Wowza server needs it. (We can't enable URL-based auth either.) Will continue to follow developments on this app.

It doesn't work with rtmp that require a key & id please add :(

Great app. Very stable and produces high quality streaming. Needs to have a digital zoom feature and then it would be perfect.

Solid on Evostream. Settings​ are fairly easy to understand. I'm not sure why Video Bitrate is in Bit/sec and not Kb/sec like iOS version and every other encoder under the sun, but it's fairly easy to figure out. Otherwise, Video Only mode is a welcome option. Keep up the great work, dev!!

This app is brilliant. I use it to push live feeds to Flussonic. It's very easy to use, yet also flexible to configure in specific ways. Normally I would pay for an app I like and use this much. Where can I do that? :)

Awesome app! I love it! Works great, easy to use. Streaming from a OnePlus 3. It gives great quality and stability! Partnered Twitch streamer, use it all the time!

Couldn't use with restream.io. Seems to want to login to my account instead of using the rtmp url and stream key.

В основном все работает на отлично, но есть косяк, стрим посылаемый приложением не хочет принимать Open Broadcaster Software как Media Source. В качестве сервера трансляций использую nginx-rtmp. Быстрофикс: в конфиге nginx-rtmp директива "meta copy" мешала. Если поставить "meta on" - то все ок

Need user ID and password option for streaming without that I can't do it on my server..

I tried just about every app for live streaming to YouTube and this is my favourite. It doesn't require my YouTube password - just use the server URL, a slash, and the stream key. Unlike its competition, Larix allows you to configure video size and bitrate, and even choose audio source. It could only be improved by adding a digital zoom feature. This is a great app for the hobbyist and pro videographer alike. If I ever have to live stream a single camera event, this is what I'll use.

This is the Android rtmp broadcast app to get! Works on any rtmp based server I've tossed at it, including Eyepartner's psychotic service. Odd 10fps flips back and forth with 30fps no matter the resolution, but may be from this cheap phone's camera. If you want to livestream on the cheap, get this!

I use this for Facebook Live streaming and it's smooth. However, it's not easy to notice some performance drop until I check the live video again. Bitrate option in this app should be implemented in Larix Screencaster.

I type in the connection info and hit the red button but literally nothing happens not even a couldn't connect error

very good application. I think the best rtmp/rtsp encoder for mobile devices.

Works like it should. Haven't tested long enough to see resource usage.

Was easy to use and did exactly what I wanted it to and nothing more.

Samsung tab does not able to open settings panel

Tried 6 other apps, this is the best one.

Opened the app and had a black screen for around a minute before I gave up.
