StocksOnFire is a delivery vehicle for those stocks offering actionable criteria for trend following, bullish investors. Updated throughout the day, the app displays individual equities meeting technical and fundamental criteria considered significant to advancement. StocksOnFire is a window, or Portal, into the market and individual stocks presented by a full time trader watching the market. Commentary regarding behavior of market is updated throughout the day.
Not a general purpose stock app, StocksOnFire is designed for those who prescribe to equity investing as modeled by Investor’s Business Daily, CANSLIM or general bullish trend following. You probably do not have the time to watch hundreds of stocks looking for Institutional buying and pivot points of low risk. This service is designed to fill that void and deliver to your tablet potential opportunities in real-time.
Our techniques are based on much of the IBD work, but more importantly Richard Wyckoff means of monitoring Price and Volume activity. When the overall market is positive our backend software is finding potential low risk opportunities. This is used in our personal investing / trading and now we are offering it as a data subscription service to busy professionals / individuals for their own use.
Depending on the market and stocks we will be pruning through stocks with bullish completions of pullbacks, breakouts and volume based advancement from consolidations, with perhaps only one or two stocks being shown or maybe twenty or thirty. From this base you the end user can further determine if any provided opportunities meet your investing criteria, interest and intent.
We are looking for market, group and individual stock strength and note individual situations as they arise, potentially with comments on stock or group. Our filtering of stocks shows Institutional Quality stocks with certain price, liquidity and fundamental characteristics as described on website.
The app allows the user to view three charts on each equity, intraday, daily and weekly, as well as calculated price and volume. From this some simple means to segregate interesting stocks is provided, and the use of websites for further investigation is integrated. Internal to the app the user can “slave” up to fifty web browsers for favorite information as one cycles through stocks. Meaning if you use Yahoo, StockCharts, MarketWatch or IBD Stock Checkup it is integrated in our app. Customizable.
