Learn Portuguese - 3,400 words

Pros - vocabulary selection and categorisation, you can select the words to learn, the words are repeated in exercises according to degree of assimilation; Cons - the app selects the words for you RANDOMLY (rather than most often used in the language), practice exercises too simple (you can figure out the answers without actually knowing the word), when you select the right picture you hear the next exercise (rather than the voice repeating the right word) etc. I wanted to like this app but won't be using.

Often have to tap answer twice. Sometimes the question doesnt appear until the question block is tapped. Some of the vocab is a little advanced for a beginner (does a newbie really need "jellyfish?")

My grammar and sentence structure is quite decent, but I needed an easy app to build vocab. This is exactly that. It's a vocab app and a good one.

While learning Brazilian Portuguese this app has been extremely helpful. Definitely the best among the several vocabulary builders I have tried. It is neither too easy nor too hard solving each level. Each word is presented with a clear, non-robotic articulation and a picture which really makes the words "stick to your brain" in an educative and fun way.

Nice for begginers. Wish it was more interactive, sometimes it is noce to be able to replay again, but in this up after one click you can not do it anymore

Very good for learning all those little vocabulary words that are essential for everyday life. The simplicity of the teaching style is good as long as it is paired with another app to teach you connections and conjugations and stuff, unless you already know those. Also I'm pretty sure this app doesn't use internet, so it's great for studying on the subway! Some of the spoken words do not match the written words, but overall a very good app. :)

Can extend vocabulary, nut I am so forgetful.
